Summary: Personal Experience Just bought this to replace Sanyo PLV-Z3 that has performed faultlessly for last 3 years. Reasons; Ultra Quiet - 3 year warranty offered - its full HD - best processing. Image quality on HD-DVD is brilliant. Rich colours - no more grey mist - black to me looks black - dark scenes at night look fab. Watched the Reaping on HD - the forest scenes looked fantastic - the dark final church yard scene the same.
Summary: Personal Experience I have the Mitsubishi for 3 weeks now. amazing................ The picture is beautiful, natural true colors, amazing deep blacks and tremendous detail. The picture is very light. Calibration is very simple. This is the best projector currently at 10k. I used 5 different 1080P DVD HD & blu-ray,PS3 game & HD move from the pc on 116" screen. WOW.............
Summary: Personal Experience WOW! 2nd projector I've owned and it is absolutely amazing. Very quiet. The image is so clear it appears to be a 100" plasma screen. Great prices can be found on this projector making it a true unsung 1080 HDTV hero.
Summary: Personal Experience I upgraded from a Panasonic Ae900 and haven't looked back. This HC6000 is amazing. Razor sharp, deep blacks and beautiful colours. No calibration required. Whisper quiet - you can't hear this thing! Also has motorized zoom, focus and lens shift - no more getting out of the chair to manually adjust stuff. This is the best projector that your money can buy. You won't regret it.
Summary: Personal Experience This is the third projector I have owned. First was an infocus projector with a lot of noise, few features but a decent pcture.Next was the Runco CL410. It was an excellent projector yet still had a lot of noise associated with it. Runco's quality can not be beat. The picture was great. It was a true quality machine. I purchased the Mits HC6000 after looking at many of the 1080 projectors including Sony, Panasonic, and JVC. Noise level? There is none.
