  • Summary: This unit is a superb projector. I have it set up with a 120" 16:9 screen, and everyone that views it is blown away with the color, the detail, and the size of the picture. It's a bargain at this price.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I've had this projector for 3 months now and I'd say it was one of the best value for money deals I've ever had. After the $500 rebate I paid $1400 for my HC4900. This is my second projector after my Panasonic bit the dust after just over 2 years of use.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I am a novice user and was looking for a good HD Projector. I ran across the Mitsu 4900 and fell in love with the reviews and price. Power focus, zoom, image shift, etc all add up to a super easy installation - even for a novice.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I am a firm believer in getting the highest quality for the most reasonable price. I started my home theater on this premise in late 2003 with a VGA resolution NEC LT240K, rated at 2000 lumens and 2000:1 contrast.

  • Summary: Personal Experience My Second Projector, it replaced a 3 yr old Pani PT-AE700U. I'm very pleased with it's beautiful picture quality and the obvious improvement in contrast compared to my old pj. I feel I got the very best picture quality for the money and would recommend it to anyone!

  • Summary: Personal Experience My fourth projector and first hi-def native machine. A great Thanksgiving deal nearly cleaned my bank account but I'm very happy with this machine so far. (About 50 hours of use.

  • Summary: Personal Experience This projector produces beautiful picture for the money. Color saturation is great. Sharp and natural looking. I have the projector on a shelf 2 feet away from my ears and I can even hear it. It is dead silent.

  • Summary: Personal Experience By way of introduction, let me say that I am not an AV or Home Theater expert. However, I have done a lot of research in the last few weeks and finally decided on this projector. I do not regret that decision! I originally was looking at the Mitsubishi HC1500 and Optoma HD72.
