  • Summary: Personal Experience The image quality of this little machine is awesome, i am still amazed for the image quality out of the box and i have used 130 hours at this moment. Very Sharp, great color image and beautiful skin tones have marvel me from the firt moment. Night scenes in movies and videogames are beautiful if you use the video or sports gamma mode. I am very happy with the projector, to get something better you need to spend double.

Wonderful home theater projector for this range of price, or even more.

  • Summary: I migrate from the earlier mit hd1000 720p to this one. This new has greater contrast, wonderful colour without calibration, very sharp image. Excellent for home theater in a dark room and it works also fine with little light. I don´t think there´s another projector in this price that equals this quality, I recommend it.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Picture looks sharp, ANSI contrast is also excellent. Picture has pop. Problems Checkerboard picture breakup. Requires a shut down of projector to correct. Uneven screen brightness, right side brighter. Green color is low when checked with a calibration disc. Can't seem to be increased.

If you're on a budget and don't need 3D, I highly recommend the HC4000.

  • Summary: I purchased the HC4000 mainly for watching movies and formula 1 racing on tv. Along with the projector I purchased the Oppo 93 Blu Ray player (which was recommended by the seller and reviews I read on the internet). The picture quality when watching Blu Ray movies is fabulous (especially for the price). The quality is so good that I can see when the image was not focused correctly by the cameraman.

  • Summary: I had always owned rear projection t.v.'s including Mitsubishi and was always impressed with their brand...so when I recently moved to my new home, the theater room was wired for a projector by the previous owner..I was hesitate about putting one up,thinking the quality of he picture was substandard...boy was I wrong. The picture from this projector is INCREDIBLE! I have a 100" tv now on my bare wall with no screen and its amazing..

  • Summary: Personal Experience Upgrading from the Optoma H31, a standard definition award winning budget projector, I expected the black levels and contrast to be significantly superior during generic movie viewing. The results in my experience are marginally so. Problems Review raised my expectations higher than the projector delivers in my living room.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Outstanding, awesome, exceptional projector for the price. Excellent, bright picture. Low audible noise. Long bulb life. It does not have lens shift or iris and has one HDMI port. If you do not require those features the HC4000 successfully competes with many much more expensive projectors. Standard warranty is 2 years, buy with AMEX and get an additional year. Problems None.
