Summary: Personal Experience I own the uniden ulp 1000 and the newer Microvision + which claims to be 50% brighter with 15 lumens. To be 50% brighter it would have to be 50 lumens not 15. There is very little difference between the 2 projectors.
Summary: Washing State's MicroVision SHOWWX+ Laser Pocket Projector is THE only tiny projector to buy.. don't get a White LED driven one (Sony, 3M, etc) as the brightness is horrible. This was the first LASER projector.
Summary: The projector works great! The room does have to be dim. Great with iPhone 4 and below. I have made it work with my iPhone 5 using VGA. Video streaming using this is awesome! I also use mine for video games from my phone and a controller..
Summary: I bought this a few months ago to use as emergency backup for a presentation that I had to give in a place famous for the dysfunction of its own AV system. I guess that was all the threat it needed, because the built-in system worked fine and I didn't have to use the PICO projector.
Summary: This pocket sized projector is a ot of fun. Hooks up to your Ipod or computer easily. No software to download or anything, just plug and play. Uses a pretty standard hookup to charge the battery, the same hookup I use for my phone.
Summary: this item was great. was able to watch netflix movies through iphone using projector. wish battery life was better but we knew what to expect going in. would highly recommend buying this item.
Summary: I purchased this when it went for $60 last year. I use it to watch movies from my ipod nano. Battery life is about 1hr 15min. Its not great to use at night but it works awesome in the dark. Dont expect it to perform like a full size projector. It was designed primarily for business presentations.
Summary: I bought this last year, I think the price may have gone up because I believe I only paid $160 for it. I needed something portable, and this definitely fits the bill. The picture quality is very good, not just for a pico but for most projectors.
