Summary: I've had this device for about 4 years now. I wont discus picture quality here. The three issues that I've experienced are 1) sometimes the hdmi connection doesn't always recognize a connected device, its about 95% of the time it detects the connection.
Summary: It works well and is very compact. I can fit the whole kit in a small pelican case. My only issue is that it is not very bright. You need to have a real dark room to enjoy; if you do, it works well.
Summary: Personal Experience My first impressions were not so great. Image was soft and unit shut down after a few minutes. I then tried streaming video from Youtube in HD quality and this made a big difference. Image is sharp and looks very good up to around 50 inches.
Summary: In general, I was happy with this purchase. The projector is small and is easy to set up and has sharp focus. On the negative side, I was disappointed you have to purchase a separate connecting cord for a PC and the device requires a very dark room if you are projecting on a screen bigger than 3...
Summary: The projector itself lives up to the hype in their ads. It's gotta be good and dark, though. It does alright in dim light, too. Between this, a good travel-speaker, and my iPod Touch, I've got a decent home theater system I can take anywhere. It's great.
Summary: Pretty happy with this upgraded version. Using this toy mainly for watching streaming video movies from Netflix. Good for up to 40 in. on the wall in semi-dark env. Linked via s-video from laptop to composite video on the projector. Bought an s-video to rca convertor.
Summary: We have reviewed the MicroVision ShowWX+ on Picopros several times. Its focus-free operation and bright, vibrant colors are among the best out there. It does lack memory storage and HDMI I/O, but makes up for it with easy connectivity to ANY Apple product, VGA, and composite video source. [...
Summary: Like the product, but didn't realize it mainly works with "iProducts" only. I switched from iPhone to Galaxy S-3 and haven't been able to make it work with my new phone. I do hope there is a easy solution for this other than returning it.
