Summary: This is a startlingly good little unit for the prices you can get it for these days. I got a used one and am blown away with the brightness (it has 1400 ansi lumens), the small size and weight (about 3 or so pounds) and the general performance. Has VGA port and supports XGA resolution, which is nice for clear details. The controls are basic and don't have the bells and whistles of newer more expensive models.
Summary: Personal Experience Pretty good price when I bought it 2004. But image quality is not very good, color come out very dark and strange, the picture feels "dirty" without sparkle. And dark. The fan is also way too noisy compared to other machines available today.
Summary: Personal Experience The projector is good, good image quality, and very very portable though I did not review other before purchase. Dont know about the service or the value of spare parts. The specs say the lamp life is 2000hrs. But the manual say it is 1500?? Problems I wanted to have the projector ceiling mounted, but LG replied that it is not recommended. Though the projector does have three screw holes on its back and has a provision to rotate the picture vertically.
Summary: Personal Experience This unit truly has a very poor image. The colors are as far off as possible, and I'm not able to correct this manually. It just doesn't look right whatever settings I try. I compared unit this with an Epson EMP-735. When it comes to image quality (color) this unit is no match for the Epson.
Summary: Personal Experience This projector has to be the best value for money projector on the market.Costs less than $2500. It has every feature you could want. The contrast ratio and brightness is really good for such a small projector.
