Summary: This projector turns on and off really quickly. Being powered by an LED, you don't have to wait more than a few seconds for it to be ready to go. When you are done, it powers off and is ready to pack up almost as quickly. Works well with my 120 inch screen. At 700 lumens its one of the brightest portable LED projectors I have seen on the market.
Summary: purchased this projector for our theater room/man cave. overall this is a very good projector for the price. Blu-ray and hdtv look excellent. 3d only works via pc which is a bummer since the newer model of this projector the pa75U does 3d. I have ours projected on a 106" screen in a dark room. as far as picture compared to our other TV's #we have a 65" rear projection and a 51" plasma# the picture is excellent once you get all the setting adjusted in the menu.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality, we want 3d not just from pc
Summary: I've been shopping for projectors for years, and finally with LED technology becoming much more cost effective, I was able to purchase a projector at a cost less than that of most TVs. I can avoid the focus issue that most people have by turning off the keystone, and it is quite annoying to have a smaller viewing area than the visible light area, but you soon forget it all immersed in the 70+" screen.
Summary: First impression: This thing is tiny! Take a 500 sheet stack of copy paper, cut in in half (the short way) and that's how small it is. When I first turned the projector on I immediately noticed the clarity and colors are amazing, and the picture is so much better than my previous projector, an Infocus 4805 480p projector.
Summary: I have been using projectors for several years now. Picture Quality has come a long way. My use is a little different then most buying this projector. I use mainly for home theater and little use on computer. I have a light controlled dedicated theater room so this review is biased toward home theater use. Recently purchased this unit from Fry's for $499.
Summary: I bought this projector and overall impressive performance for an LED projector (small, silent, pretty bright). The CONs: no zoom, weak speaker system. I also bought LG Black 3D Blu-ray Disc Player - BP620, somewhat naively believing I could connect to LG 3D pieces of equipment. It took the hotline 2hours and 7 people to find out that this is not compatible. The projector accepts only 120 Hz input for 3D.
Summary: Immediately I opened the box, I went WOW!!! This projector looks amazingly sleek and top quality. Its tiny compare to my previous ACER DLP projector. Picture quality is really good but there is definitely blurring around the edges and no amount of tuning and focusing will get rid of it. The speaker is good but I easily connected by PC speaker to it for some amazing sound. The USB accepts my 500GB Transcend and plays most types of movies and audio but not all.
Summary: The picture from this projector is brilliant. I was using the LG HS201g for a couple of years before this and there is no comparison. The resolution is good enough to finally read internet pages clearly and word documents. The picture is very similar to a high quality LCD tv. The brightness is probably slightly less than that of a 42" tv, but you get a 100" picture for about a quarter of the power consumption of a 42" tv.
Summary: One of the best purchases I've made in the last few years. Was a little unsure whether 700 lumen would be bright enough, but so long as the room is fairly dark it's great and with the lights all off the projector is stunning. Extremely bright, crystal clear when watching movies and silky smooth. I've got this projecting on a 100" white painted wall (7.5 foot across) with black velvet round the edges for contrast and it truly is brilliant.
