Summary: The best value for money LED projector. Just change the view mode to 16:9 and you have a good theater setup. The brightness is enough for a moderately dark room. If you plan to use it outdoors maybe you should look somewhere else. The only drawback is no native support for 16:9. The other model HW-301 has these features but it has diamond pixels. Not good for text but this one has better text display.
Summary: This came with a supposed two year warranty. When it failed I rang up and was told I wasn't covered with one excuse after another. No mention of how to get it repaired, just a complete lack of interest. First they had no record of this particular model, next it must be the fault of the power company despite it having run just fine for six months, last my projector was shipped from overseas. Well duh. They're made in Korea.
Summary: Small and compact. I've had this projector since May of 2012 and it's still going strong, it gives you amazing picture for your movies and games, and I run my laptop and my Xbox 360 off of it. Absolutely love it.
Summary: After using a cheap Epson LCD projector in my living room for years, it was time to find a replacement. Searching on the net and encouraged by the glorious reviews on Amazon, I purchased the LG 301G. I got it in a timely manner and extremely well packed - as usual from Amazon. However, when plugging it in I've got disappointed big time - read below. The good: - It's very small and cute. It's almost fashionable, if a projector can be fashionable.
amazing led projector, and potentially a very complete multimedia player

Summary: open the box, wait less 1 min, and you are using it. i tested usb & hdmi, and it works perfect. + menus & time on/off: the menus are easy to follow, and for lg users, looks like a lg tv menu. other item, compared to normal projectors are the times for on and off, is really fast!, when you turn on or turn off. + image: in a regular lighting room, the image is ok.
Summary: This projector is awesome. I currently have it ceiling mounted projecting a 102" diagonal screen. The picture looks great even at that size. It is obviously a little washed out in normal light ie. Ceiling fan light or open blinds, but it still looks pretty good. It won't replace most everyday tvs, but it is really like being at a theater with the lights off. I highly recommend this projector for games, movies, and definitely sports watching.
Summary: As a college teacher of many years, I have recently made the decision to turn all of my chemistry presentations into Powerpoint presentations. This LG projector has done a very admirable job. It provides more than enough illumination for the class and the slide information remains nicely in-focus all of the time. I would certainly recommend this light-weight unit to anyone.
Really nice projector, but tripod mount is not good!

Summary: Let's start with the good news; this seems to be an excellent projector! Bright, very decent resolution, fast on and off, very small and light. The carrying (and storage) bag it comes with is nice and just big enough (not too big, not too small) for the unit, the power adapter, cables, remote, manual etc. The bag could be padded just a bit more though, at least for the "road warriors" out there.
Summary: I couldn't be happier with the HX301G. I decided on this unit after much research. The HX301g is compact, lightweight, easy to use, quiet, low maintenence (no bulb replacement with LEDs), has a short throw, great picture and was resonably priced at $599. I am using the projector in my basement gym with an 80" Epson Duet screen. In a dark or low light setting the picture looks amazing, as good or better than my LCD HDTVs anyway.
