  • Summary: Personal Experience POP!! Well that kind of sums the picture quality up. Amazing contrast for this brightness. Add very good flexability for the installation and not too high fan noise and we have a winner. Previously I have had a couple of lcd projectors (Sanyo Z4 was my latest) and I looked around a lot before getting this one, HC6000, TW9000, HD80 was some of the projectors i looked at and this one came out on top.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I have owned at least 3 other projectors by Sanyo (LCD) and Mitsubishi (DLP) but the JVC DLA-RS1U, in pretty much any measure you care to think of, easily trumps them all. The JVC combines the best preformance features of LCD (color etc.) and DLP (contrast etc.) into one beautiful package. When I play 1080p Blu-ray discs the color, sharpness, saturation, contrast etc. are so amazing as to defy description.

  • Summary: Personal Experience So far I owned this projector for 4 months. It is a very quiet projector projecting very beautiful images. I have seen the HD talk shows (Late Night with David Letter.. and Jay Leno) and some HD news airing from my cable box and immediately I was blown away by the ultra sharpness and the gorgeous color saturation! These broadcast airing are the type that this projector gains its good reputation. Seeing that, I could not wait to get my HD players.

  • Summary: Personal Experience For the first time, I have a projector that approximates the movie theater experience. I bought it for the resolution, but the color fidelity is stunning and dark scenes are clear and enjoyable to watch. Looks great on a 120" Carada brilliant white screen.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I have seen all of JVC projectors through time, and I believe that DILA is the best, but however i never thought it would be like this. The darkness and details scaled up from 576i (DVD) to 1080 is magnificent, excellent is just not enough on the scale. I have not words for all the categories, I now how to go through JVC setup menues, but it could be easier, but what the hell, it rarely necesary Problems All friends, family and neighbours is now...

  • Summary: Personal Experience We install these projectors in proffesional edit suites and VFX rooms and I have not seen a better projector for this price. We always shoot to a Stewart Snowmatte screen, we get exceptional quality pictures that are very comparable to the HD2K but without the complex set up application. Would recommend to any entertainment industry use. Well Done JVC.

  • Summary: Personal Experience AMAZING - I was able to use my mount for my benq pe8700+ and so I swapped back and forth a couple times - The difference between the two is nothing short of AMAZING. While in the home theater store I definitely was impressed but comparing the benq to the JVC really blew me away. Also I spent time comparing the ruby, hd81 and this one. CLEAR winner. Contrast - It is amazing how bright the PJ is with such a high contrast.
