Summary: Personal Experience Picture is amazing. Color and clarity are great, but the brightness is what won me over. Also very quiet. DLP's take about a min to turn on and should not be turned off right away, so keep remote away from small kids. Have for about a yr, use extensively in family room, and bulb still going strong. Problems Have had times where zoom is activated with RF remote when using volume control, but could be a programing issue.
Summary: Personal Experience I can understand the above reviewers comments on the value for the money at $30,000. However, the price has come down and is I believe now a good value. The picture is excellent...colors great and it looks good hanging from the ceiling. I could not find another 3 chip in the same ballpart as the 777. I would recommend it strongly. Problems No problems, but I have had the unit for only 90 days.
Summary: Personal Experience was impress by the picture when i saw it in the showroom.Great Picture i saw. Bought it at a very expensive price. Did not even get a decent discount when i bought it and when i hooked it up @ home, using component and dvi connections.Picture was lousy no matter how they tune it. Does not have a dvi standard that it should or must have when i was using dvi connection. Picture as good as a single chip Sim2.
Summary: Personal Experience i demoed the PJ at a local dealer and i was chocked at how good this pj was the picture quality and the overall look was stunning no rainbows no pixels beats any plasma or crt ive seen so far a perfect image the best thing about this PJ is the size and the portability of it it beats most crt projectors ive seen so far i only wish it was cheaper...
Summary: Personal Experience Absolutely stunning picture. I had to decide between this and the Sim2. I had already discounted the Marantz version as noisey in comparison and also it seemed to have a slight haze on the picture. I couldn't decide between this and the Sim and only finaly made my mind up on the 777 as it offered a good saving on the money front and I didn't need the extra connectivety of the Sim.
