  • Summary: I don't know much about all these high tech electronics today. But I can tell you that the picture this projector makes is incredible. The colors and images are life like on the screen.

  • Summary: Great Projector. Maybe better than entry 1080P projector. If you can catch it at low price about 600, it is very best for the money.

infocus 7210

  • Summary: I was going to buy the Mitsubishi HC 6000. But I saw this and thought I'd try to buy it. Got lucky. Glad I did. I ceiling mounted it about 10 feet away from the screen. I have about a 98 inch picture. There is almost no screen door effect at this distance. Its bright enough that I can watch movies in the daytime without blacking out the room. I am very happy. On the downside, no HDMI.

Awesome picture quality

  • Summary: I did 5 months of research before deciding on this one and have not regretted this choice. Got this projector for the DLP DarkChip 3 and Faroudja DCDi chipset... was not disappointed. All the reviews I read were right about the PQ... great contrast and upconversion to from 480 to 720p. Also bought a M1-DA to HDMI converter for 15 bucks, and native HD sources look awesome! I'm projecting onto a 92" screen I made using laminate and Screen Goo.

Awesome projector for the money

Trance, Amazon
20 February 2008
  • Summary: I had the infocus 4805 before this, and I loved it.. the 4805 lasted 4100h on the same bulb, I can only hope the 7210 does as well. The 7210's color reproduction is phenomenal if at times a bit too warm, but it really feels like you are there live, especially when watching real HD quality media. It is a snap to setup, takes about 45sec to warmup so make sure you turn it on before your other equipment to give it a chance.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I am extremely happy with my purchase. I use it with a Da-lite Cinemavision (1.3 gain) screen. I wanted a projector that retained a quality picture with ambient light in the room and I have not been disappointed. I get "WOW" every time a friend sees an HD sports broadcast --even with a large window in the room. I would recommend for any sports enthusiest like myself that throws parties and does not want complete darkness in the room.

  • Summary: Personal Experience For $4700 including mount I'm impressed. First front projector but moved from a 55 inch Mitisubishi HDTV rear projector and the picture is incredible and better on from the 7210. Using 106 inch dalite gray (I belive Cinama somthing or another with the black felt around the edges) 1.3 gain screen. You can see some signs of the screen door at 2 inches away, but who is sitting that close. Direct tv High def material is sick.

  • Summary: Personal Experience 6 weeks now and I still love it. I have a Draper Pemier 119" diag. I sit 19 feet away. My closest seat it 14 feet away. Looks excellent. I don't see any screen door effect until I walk up to the 10 foot mark. Problems Powered up goofy once. Shut it off and on again and it was fine. That's it I use it 2-3 hours a nite.
