Summary: I was going to buy the Mitsubishi HC 6000. But I saw this and thought I'd try to buy it. Got lucky. Glad I did. I ceiling mounted it about 10 feet away from the screen. I have about a 98 inch picture.
Summary: I did 5 months of research before deciding on this one and have not regretted this choice. Got this projector for the DLP DarkChip 3 and Faroudja DCDi chipset... was not disappointed. All the reviews I read were right about the PQ... great contrast and upconversion to from 480 to 720p.
Summary: I had the infocus 4805 before this, and I loved it.. the 4805 lasted 4100h on the same bulb, I can only hope the 7210 does as well. The 7210's color reproduction is phenomenal if at times a bit too warm, but it really feels like you are there live, especially when watching real HD quality media.
Summary: Personal Experience I am extremely happy with my purchase. I use it with a Da-lite Cinemavision (1.3 gain) screen. I wanted a projector that retained a quality picture with ambient light in the room and I have not been disappointed.
Summary: Personal Experience I have had it now for 6 months running through direct tv highdef and dennon 2910 with a stewart firehawk no complaints, like everyones post hd is the bomb and my 2910 up convert is awesome make sure you buy the m1 to dvi if you have more then one source gefon EXT-HD-241 works...
Summary: Personal Experience For $4700 including mount I'm impressed. First front projector but moved from a 55 inch Mitisubishi HDTV rear projector and the picture is incredible and better on from the 7210.
Summary: Personal Experience 6 weeks now and I still love it. I have a Draper Pemier 119" diag. I sit 19 feet away. My closest seat it 14 feet away. Looks excellent. I don't see any screen door effect until I walk up to the 10 foot mark. Problems Powered up goofy once.
