  • Summary: Personal Experience I got this projector on sale from woot.com It has been great. My roommate and I are heavy users of this projector. Primary use is movies & TV shows with xbox360 games as well. I have it hooked up to my computer and use it as my HTPC / Windows desktop. We have 110" on a DIY screen in the basement. Brightness probably wouldn't be as good in a room with a lot of natural light. Picture is great in 720p.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought my inFocus SP7200 when it first came out. The family has watched movies every Friday night at the minimum since then. We have never had any problems, and the original bulb is still bright and vibrant (it has never been replaced). We have never had True HD on this projector, but we are still blown away by the picture quality. 6 years later, we are planning to finally hook it up with HDMI and true HD.

  • Summary: Personal Experience We bought our Infocus 7200 projector as part of a whole new home theater install on November 2004. The house wasn't completed until Sept. 2005. We have been very disappointed with the reliability of this projector. We also find it to be quite noisy when running. Problems Since Sept 2005 we went through our first bulb in less than a year. It cost close to $1000 to replace. In November 2007 the projector shut down completely.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I purchased a manufacturer refurbished 7200 for $2,100 and the picture is amazing in every way. Problems After about a week, the projector was giving me a bad connection error message. But, InFocus fixed it free of charge. I only had to pay $14 to ship it to them. Great product, great service...great company.

  • Summary: Personal Experience This is a fatnastic projector. It fits perfectly for my setup. since we don't have a dedicated home theater or great light control during the day, the 7200's brightness throws a plasma like picture that makes my neighbors rethink their $5k RPTV boxes... :) Only thing I would change is the lack of lens offset. Problems No problems whatsoever.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Had the projector for a year. The picture quality is sufficient for my 100 inch screen. User interface is good. Little noisier than I would like. Problems Glad I signed up for extended warranty. Had what appears to be a fan failure. Bearings? Started to make a racket and caused some flickering. Infocus and local dealer had a new one in place in two days.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Incredible picture quality w/ DVDs and DISH 811 HDTV. Getting it at just a little more than half of MSRP from an authorized dealer just made it so much better. Problems Over the course of the past about 6 months that I've had it, the only problem I encountered was about a month ago, the red light came on when it was warming up. The manual indicated it was a lamp problem. Turned it off then back on and problem solved. Generally trouble free!

  • Summary: Personal Experience Had mine computer calibrated (Always do this first) and use a 400.00+ DVD Player to get MAXIMUM performance out of this projector. I used a dennon 2200 with a vutec 3.1 gain screen....BETTER THEN ANY IMAGE I SAW IN MY LIFE!!!!!! The gain helps big time...it looked HD. Love this projector. Infocus has been in the projector business for a long time, and they are serious about the Home Theater experience.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I was amazed at how great this projector is. After 3 months of research trying to decided between LCD or DLP and how much to spend I decided on the infocus. Was so anxious to try it that I used an old 60" daylight screen I had used for 8mm movies. While it was not as large a picture as I plan on projecting, it was amazing. Right out of the box the colors were accurate, the picture wqs bright and sharp and blacks were black!

  • Summary: Personal Experience This projector is completely breath taking! It's image with good quality DVDs is like being at the movie theater! The colors are absolutely beautiful and the image is astonishingly pixel free. I got to give it to Infocus, this projector is the perfect balance of lumens/contrast ratio/color accuracy/and price! You will not be disappointed with the image this puppy throws!!!!!! Problems Not Yet, but that's why I can't rate reliability.
