Summary: Personal Experience I got this projector on sale from woot.com It has been great. My roommate and I are heavy users of this projector. Primary use is movies & TV shows with xbox360 games as well. I have it hooked up to my computer and use it as my HTPC / Windows desktop.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought my inFocus SP7200 when it first came out. The family has watched movies every Friday night at the minimum since then. We have never had any problems, and the original bulb is still bright and vibrant (it has never been replaced).
Summary: Personal Experience We bought our Infocus 7200 projector as part of a whole new home theater install on November 2004. The house wasn't completed until Sept. 2005. We have been very disappointed with the reliability of this projector. We also find it to be quite noisy when running.
Summary: Personal Experience I purchased a manufacturer refurbished 7200 for $2,100 and the picture is amazing in every way. Problems After about a week, the projector was giving me a bad connection error message. But, InFocus fixed it free of charge. I only had to pay $14 to ship it to them.
Summary: Personal Experience This is a fatnastic projector. It fits perfectly for my setup. since we don't have a dedicated home theater or great light control during the day, the 7200's brightness throws a plasma like picture that makes my neighbors rethink their $5k RPTV boxes...
Summary: Personal Experience Had the projector for a year. The picture quality is sufficient for my 100 inch screen. User interface is good. Little noisier than I would like. Problems Glad I signed up for extended warranty. Had what appears to be a fan failure. Bearings?
Summary: Personal Experience Had mine computer calibrated (Always do this first) and use a 400.00+ DVD Player to get MAXIMUM performance out of this projector. I used a dennon 2200 with a vutec 3.1 gain screen....BETTER THEN ANY IMAGE I SAW IN MY LIFE!!!!!! The gain helps big time...it looked HD.
Summary: Personal Experience I was amazed at how great this projector is. After 3 months of research trying to decided between LCD or DLP and how much to spend I decided on the infocus. Was so anxious to try it that I used an old 60" daylight screen I had used for 8mm movies.
Summary: Personal Experience This projector is completely breath taking! It's image with good quality DVDs is like being at the movie theater! The colors are absolutely beautiful and the image is astonishingly pixel free.
