  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought mine in March 2006 for $400. Bulb can last up to 4000 hrs is what the manual says. The picture is crisp and clean. I project onto a screen (6ft x 5 ft) from a distance of 12 feet - - ceiling mount in a bulk head. My room is 24 ft by 18 ft with two large windows at the back of the room. The fan is really quiet compared to my old Sharp 1100U projector.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Very good overall projector, but can only be used in total darkness unless you use a screen with high gain. Used it for about 4 year without any major issue. Grid is invisible and colors are good. Shooting range is average, due to the 800 lumens. Problems The rear fan sometimes makes noise at start-up for few minutes.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I bought this projector off for about $250 and I've already got more than my monies worth out of it. I bought it with about 1800 hours on the bulb and I'm up to 2100 now with no signs that the bulb will go yet. Overall a great projector for the money! Problems Identical as "ClubDoug," noisy rear fan and a slight yellow tinge on the far left and blue tinge on the far left.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I've had the projector for about 6 months. Image quality is excellent for the money. I don't have a single TV or monitor at all now, just have my PC with a HDTV card in it connected straight to my projector in the lounge, producing an 80" image straigh onto an off white wall. Image is clear enough to see everything ok, eg surfing the web, navigating through playlists etc. Bulb life is 2000 hrs and mine is up to 2500 hrs now and still working ok.

  • Summary: Personal Experience Bang for buck is awesome. Can pick these up for cheap, thousands less than a plasma or lcd screen. For movies, nothing better. I have used for around 100 hours, very happy with it so far. Watched lots of films and used XBox and PC on it. Computer image is sweet and very bright. Contrast is pretty ordinary compared to crt tv, but for a first pj it is great. Fan noise is not a problem at all. Set up is easy. I project onto a white concrete wall (!

  • Summary: Personal Experience I only have the LP350 to use as comparison, and the LP750 is MUCH better. Picture is great for all Svideo, composite and VGA. If you get within 4-5 feet you see the screen effect, but beyond that it's really good. I got a great deal on it and got a cheap new replacement lamp. Problems I found the Svideo input to be a little deeper, I thought it didn't work at first until I pushed my connector in (could be my cable).
