Summary: Personal Experience purchased this secondhand month ago and what a waste of money. the image quality is shocking worse than one of the old lcd projectors and the rainbow effects i horrid. by this projector if you want to claw your eyes out and regret it later. im now looking at the nec vt37 lcd projector so well see about what that one is like.
Summary: This unit is small and compact but has a big punch for its size. The DLP picture is crisp and clear with sharp clean lines. Also very bright and dose not a little mind ambient light. I used to watch movies on a 92" screen in my lining room as my home TV and really love the picture quality as well as HD picture.
Summary: I was very please with the condition of the projector. The only flaw I discovered with the projector was in the focusing of the projector. However, this was not a big problem after I ajusted the location of the projust and it was enough of a flaw to give the projector a bad rating.
Summary: The price is right and the LP600 does what I need. It's easy to set up, warms up quickly, has good focus and clear pictures, and shuts down within a minute. Its small size and light weight is convenient. A good unit for classroom or small auditorium PowerPoint projections. Projects well on an 8 foot screen. Does well with some light in the room.
Summary: This projector is easy to use, generates a very clear picture, and is easy to carry. It has performed above my expectations. The only negative is the price of replacement bulbs. I will be sure to turn it off when not in use.
Summary: Personal Experience This is an update to my previous review. I continued to tweak the setting and I finally turned the contrast down to about 25%. The blocky effect of the pictures is much better, it is still visible but in the acceptable range. If blocky sky patches are an issue reduce brightness and especially contrast. For photos you must be willing to tweak settings.
Summary: Unit only has less than 50 hrs on the lamp as of November 2006, but has been easy to use and quite reliable. The case shipped with the unit, however, started to come apart about a year ago, and when I called in Nov. of 2006 they said there would only have been a 90 day warranty on the case, so they wanted $35 for a replacement case. I wasn't happy, but what can you do.
