Summary: Personal Experience Picked this unit up for $450 on clearance in June 07. Excellent unit, long lamp life, fantastic picture. Throw distance is superb don't need much distance to get a wall sized image.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought this used as a travel projector. It is very lightweight and easy to set up. The projector is easy to use. It is bright enough for a dim room. I've watched several movies on it at home and found it to be a good mid-range projector. I've been very happy with it to date.
Summary: Personal Experience Good Bright Picture, Not as clear and as sharp as i would have liked. Very easy you use.Focus is too sensitive to adjust. Problems Problem with Blue lcd developing a ghost image on the Output which had to be replaced. Infocus aftersales totally unhelpfull.
Summary: Personal Experience We purchased 15 of these units for classroom use. I now have 7 units in a junk pile all because the power supply is out and they want $300 to fix each. PROXIMA and INFOCUS terrible products Problems Company won't sell replacment parts. PowerSupply, SLOW service
Summary: Personal Experience Very easy to use and quiet. I use it for presentations and its wonderful. Colors and text come out nice and crisp. Even the highly detailed images are projected with amazingly accurate detail. definate buy
Summary: Personal Experience I use this projector in my home theater and it has been GREAT. It's really very light and can be easily moved around and taken on trips. It has great features, the image is extremely bright, and the colors are vivid and crisp! Movie night at my house is a blast! Problems None
Summary: Personal Experience It is great on a 12foot screen 400 people could see it very well. It performs great Problems Power supply corrodes, now fixed and has not gone wrong since. I have had a small issues with cooling but this was rectified with a firmware mod of the website. not bad for 3 years use.
Summary: Personal Experience Nice projector, a little pricy but Still well designed.I like the SVGA-in and out, not to mention the USB Interface. It comes in handy. Problems Poor quality when reproducing S-video/Composite.
Summary: Personal Experience I use it professionally to show slideshows for weddings and functions. I can say that it will light up a 12 foot screen quite well- on an 8ft screen I had to do a slideshow in a lit restaraunt (sunlight coming in) and it did the job nicely- easy to set up- no problems thus far...
Summary: Personal Experience Much better projectors now for this price range. Was given this projector by a friend. It is serving as a home cinema pj. Not the best for that use. .7" LCD has a strong grid pattern, Resolution is bare minimum, and the contrast ratio is low, meaning not great blacks.
