Definitely a very good home movie projector

Michael Lehm, Amazon
18 June 2014
  • Summary: In Focus replaced unit when it would not work properly. So they were very easy to work with. Image quality with 50 foot HDMI cord really works well. I had a prior model from InFocus and really happy with this company products and service.

Terrific image from close range

Amazon Customer, Amazon
29 October 2013
  • Summary: We ceiling mounted this unit at our church campground. That install freed up TONS of space for us in a cramped area. The projector does NOT have a zoom, but it doesn't make it an ideal portable unit, but works great for a fixed location, as long as you determine ahead of time how far from the screen you want the projector, in order to achieve the proper screen size. Good resolution. Nice bright picture for the price. Plenty of inputs for any application.

Super Focus

Christopher C Canole, Amazon
25 September 2013
  • Summary: I owned an In Focus Screenplay 5000 for ten years that finally quit...wished it had done so years ago so I could see the difference between that wonderful projector and my new In Focus IN124. Amazing how jumping from 1,000 lumens to 3,000 lights up my world and the richer colors make me feel like I've been dipping in the fountain of youth.

Nice projector but does not have a zoom ring

Q. Analysts LLC "qatech", Amazon
20 September 2013
  • Summary: If you want to adjust image size you need to move the projector. I had limitations in my office and needed to be able to adjust the image size smaller than I could get. Unfortunately none of the Infocus short throw projectors have a zoom capability. I returned this and purchased a Ben-Q.

Not What I Expected

Brenda McSwain, Amazon
20 August 2013
  • Summary: I have used In Focus projectors for years; choosing them over other models for their high quality and ease of use. This particular model, while it performs well, was a bit of a disappointment. For a "portable" unit, this one is missing a few key elements. The unit did not come equipped with a lens cap for protecting the lens during transit and did not come with a carrying case. The projection area does not scale down easily for smaller rooms and audiences.

11 April 2013
  • Summary: Had to replace a projector in a bar and this units specs hit the mark. Happy when we received it and even happier with the performance. It's quiet and bright and the picture is better than anything else in this price range.
