Summary: This projector is an excellent deal for the price. We purchased six of them to replace old 2,200 lumens projectors in use with our school smartboards. Every teacher was shocked when they saw how much brighter the new projectors are. As one reviewer said, you do lose some of the screen size when you use HDMI (since HDMI defaults to widescreen adding blank areas at the top and bottom of the image).
Summary: Works great for Optishot! Absolutely no complaints using this for a short throw project for a golf sim driven by an Optishot. Works flawlessly and perfectly for this application. Not real good for TV, but for a computer monitor type application running fairly low complexity video, it works great. Purchased as an open box through Amazon's Warehouse and the value it is deliver at the price paid is excellent.
Excerpt: I like the distance needed for a 100" screen, about 4ft. Internal memory is excelent, no need a computer or usb drive. Video player is only good, when you use a 1920 or 1280 video sometimes is a little slow or choppy. 3300 lumnes of brightness is perfect for my needs.
Summary: So far I have only had opportunity to use this twice and I have found that it performs well. I was disappointed when it arrived as it was not packed very well and I am surprised that it survived the journey. The other problem was that it came supplied with a USA cable even though it was clear that I was buying it for use in the UK. The only real downside I have noticed so far is related to using with HDMI cable.
Summary: In Focus replaced unit when it would not work properly. So they were very easy to work with. Image quality with 50 foot HDMI cord really works well. I had a prior model from InFocus and really happy with this company products and service.
