Summary: I have had this projector for almost two years. No overheating problems, no shutdowns. It does great with HDMI sources and HD content. It requires a bit of finagling to get the best quality, but once you understand the difference between the settings and what the dominant colors the content your watching has.. everything will be fine. Mine is a little loud has a slight whine, but when the stereo is up you can't hear it. Possibly swap for a quieter fan in the future.
Summary: Great price for performance. Used it for movies and presentations during a convention. Quality was solid, picture was clear even with a somewhat bright room. Lots of connection options. The speaker is pretty poor, but I don't expect any device of this size to have one that can cover any more than the few feet around it. Use the audio output to connect to a better speaker.
Summary: Put around 380hrs on it before the white spots showed up on screen. I sent it in for warranty work and was shipped another refurb unit with a used bulb that had the hr count reset. Had to pay for return to warranty service. I'm use to Epson projectors and customer service, they have next day exchange on there projectors with tracking numbers and updates.
Summary: The resolution and focus adjustment range are adequate for general business use. This projector would be perfect if it had twice the resolution for this same price. It is light enough to take on business trips.
Summary: I bought this off Amazon. It produces a very good picture for watching football. Don't expect spectacular color matching for movies and so on, but it is plenty bright. Truth be told, this may be my last projector, as the newer LCD TVs are getting large enough to make projectors make less sense. I had this unit for around two weeks before the bulb exploded. The manual warns that this may happen.
Summary: So far so go. Delivery was on time, if not maybe a little earlier than expected. I was able to do 2 airbrush murals in board daylight so the picture is clear. It does get a little hot. I watched, roughly 2 to 3 movies on it, and it was "hand can barely touch it hot." Everything works on it, the only I was disappointed with is, it is not Mac. friendly, but to solve that you just have to buy the mac adaptor.
Summary: The picture quality of this project is great. I have been very satisfied with the features and functions--especially for the price. While this is not full high definition (HD) quality, it is better than most projectors at this price range. PREVIOUS REVIEW: It has repeatedly shut down due to overheating after using for less than 20 minutes. Our projector placement leaves plenty of room around it for air flow.
Summary: I am a big fan of this projector. I've only used it a few times so far, but the picture and brightness are great. One part that was very disappointing was that there is no bag for keeping it safe that comes with the projector, and the InFocus 'paired' bag doesn't work at all. Recently I bought the Adorama Slinger Bag, and it is a perfect fit! Plus, it's very padded since it's designed to hold digital cameras.
Summary: We used for about 45 minutes and then the light went out. We couldn't get it to come back on even after allowing to cool overnight. Decided that is should be returned since it was used so little. I think overall it is a good product & we just happened to get one with a faulty lamp or something. InFocus is typically a great product so I still wanted to give them a high rating. We have several InFocus brand projectors that we are happy with.
