Not a usable product in the condition in which it arrived.

wart58, Ebay
8 September 2012
  • Summary: The projector functions but the noise made by, I assume, the cooling fan is so loud that it could not reasonably be used in making a professional presentation, which was the intended use. I missed the 14 day return period and the vendor has refused to take it back for a refund claiming the 14 day return period was "ebay policy". It was an expensive lesson but one I won't forget.

Infocus Projector

kpoppen, Ebay
30 June 2010
  • Summary: This projector is much smaller than ones I have used before in the classroom. The usb connection is great because it eliminates having to have the special adapter for Macs. To bad it does not come with a speaker cable and it would be nice if the English portion of the manual was included in the thick manual.

No problems

SRM, Amazon

  • Summary: We have about five of these projectors. We have owned different models in the past but this one seems to work the best and hold up well. These items travel quote a bit and take the wear and tear.

It says, "Has it all." No it doesn't

  • Summary: We have one of these at the office, so I looked into getting one for myself. The one at the office has a weird thing where the video flips back and forth now and then as if it is trying to adjust keystoning. Then I found and bought the Epson EX7200 for just over half the price of the InFocus. the Epson has higher resolution, HDMI input, a brighter picture with three LEDs, is ceiling mountable, and generally has much better specs.

Corrupts our XP Laptops

J. Bowman "Bookworm", Amazon
22 January 2009
  • Summary: So far I'm extremely unhappy with this projector. The displaylink is pretty nice, the USB is much more compact than bulky VGA/DVI cables. However, the displaylink install seems to corrupt every single one of our XP laptops; after connecting the projector, they stop being able to play video and DVDs, and it doesn't work even after disconnecting, rebooting, or a system restore.

  • Summary: bought for digital link technology for my macbook pro. Could not get software to install initially, then found there was incompatibility with Snow Leopard. Got beta driver, now off to the races! Compact, quiet good image. Nice portable solution.

  • Summary: This projector has proven to be all it was advertised. It's very small, lightweight, portable, simple to use, and projects a very crisp, clean image. Great value.
