Summary: For the price and size this unit is surprisingly functional. Rated it only four stars so it is not confused with a high priced projector. It needs a fairly darkened room to show a large picture.
Summary: This is a fabulous item. While this particular model is now out of production, there is a replacement. The fact that the power block is 120-240 is a great benefit. I used the projector in Europe and it was wonderful for my powerpoint presentation. Keep in mind that this is not a $3000 projector. Yes, you need a darkened room to get a full benefit. However, be aware that some seller, if they are selling this particular model, it is probably used or a refurbished unit.
Summary: although it does not have a USB port for direct reading of files, but you can't get such feature and player at this price. The display quality is amazing, it's easy to assemble also. The tripod is a good thing also, but could not find that much of use for it. The product functionality and quality is just right for the money, could not find a device that beats that at the same price.
Summary: It's nice and small, and gives a clear and bright image, at first I was really content. But, after a while you have to tweak the clarity again and again. The tripod is not very stable. And, while it makes a reasonable amount of noise in the first minutes, it really starts raging after it gets warm. Annoying when you're watching a non-action movie. So for the price I'd expected a bit more.
Summary: I love that this small projector connects to any laptop and no additional software is required. It fits nicely in one of my old purses along with the cord, mini tripod and a laser pointer I have. If the room is not dark enough, the projected image can be hard to see but I expected that to some degree.
Summary: I'll start by saying that I'm not a big-screen kind of guy; nor a high-def person. I can say that I got this to show some photos of my work to clients...that's all great. The images can be huge and still be pretty clear. At home I sometimes watch movies projected onto a white wall or some flat white surface to get nice clear images/movies...I've gone up to 55" movie screens and was pleased with the clarity.
