  • Summary: Hitachi makes a great big screen HDTV. If you don't want the price tag of a plasma or LCD TV, then this is the way to go.
  • Pros: takes up quite a bit of room but lots cheaper than a plasma TV
  • Cons: takes up quite a bit of room but lots cheaper than a plasma TV

  • Summary: I love this TV. It is a 42" widescreen HDTV with the best picture I have ever seen, even though I still have not purchased an HDTV tuner.
  • Pros: Confusing hook up with some surround sound

  • Summary: I had a Hitachi TV for years and it gave great performance - I expected the same from the VCR. But the model (now two years old) has fewer useful programming features, and the interface is not as intuitive as it could be.
  • Pros: On-screen programming is confusing and has fewer "good" features than older model
  • Cons: On-screen programming is confusing and has fewer "good" features than older model

  • Summary: If it were not for expensive repairs, I'd be highly pleased with my 60" projection TV. Admittedly, problems didn't occur until approximately my 6th year of ownership, but when they started, they wouldn't let up. I'll probably scrap the set the next time a problem occurs and buy another big-screen set with a higher reliability rating.
  • Pros: Great picture and attractive product styling
  • Cons: Expensive repairs

  • Summary: I have owned two Hitachi nailers, one for framing and the other for trim. Both guns are great. Both are very comfortable to us which is very important when you use them daily. They are very durable and last a long time. Mine have survived going through the hands of numerous employees.
  • Pros: purchased the Hitachi Nailer for framing in 1987. Have not had any problems. Also very comfortable.
