Summary: This is an excellent business class LCD projector that is easy to use right out of the box. The Epson is plug-and-play for PCs, (Macs require a driver installation) using either a VGA or USB connection. The USB cable is not included. There is also a composite video input as well. The projection is bright and clear, with vibrant color, even in partially lit rooms, which makes it ideal for business use.
Summary: I won't go into techie specs, that has already been covered in great detail here, only a few bulletpoints to help readers make an informed decision: 1. Know that this is a "business" projector, not an "entertainment" projector. It is designed to hook to a computer and project presentations or videos in standard resolution and format, not HD widescreen. 2.
Summary: I have now had the chance to use this unit a couple of time, and my wife has also used it. So far I have used this projector only to show PowerPoint presentations from a laptop, but the connections, set-up, and use were a snap. To begin with, in my work I routinely use industrial strength digital projectors that are ceiling mounted and hard-wired into computer stations in rooms where I teach (university classes). As such I seldom have need to manipulate them, etc.
Summary: I use this projector while traveling for work. It's fairly small and packs up easily and works with every mac, pc, ipad I have tried it on effortlessly. I did have to get a more padded case but that's because I don't want it to get banged around on airplanes and such. It also has very powerful, easy to use controls for aligning the picture when projecting under less than perfect situations.
Summary: The Epson VS310 projector is stellar for business use to display slide shows, Power Point or other presentations. There are a number of good home uses for it also - play downloaded or streaming video, use as a second monitor (especially good if you use an index card program for writing; you can actually see the cards without squinting), or watch a DVD playing in your computer. The Pros: The projector is super simple to set up.
Summary: Dang! Once again reviewer M. Erb tells you everything you need to know ,in glowing detail, about this projector so all I can add is how it worked for ME. The product description tells you all the technical details, if you have a need to know. The VS310 is sort of in the low to mid-range of Epson's projectors but don't let that deter you. Except for a few bells and whistles this model has everything you need. Well, except the aforementioned cables.
Great value in a capable entry-level LCD projector

Summary: Length:: 5:23 Mins UPDATE: For Mac users who have Mountain Lion, the extension that Epson provides in the projector and that gets installed on your computer the first time you hook it up via USB is not compatible with Mountain Lion. So that means you need to download the latest driver from Epson first, before you hook this projector up to your Mac, otherwise you will have a very messy situation which requires tricky un-installation of the older Epson driver.
Summary: Compact and light weight, this is aimed squarely at the traveling business person who needs to make presentations while traveling, but it is also a handy general purpose projector, if you can accept a few limitations in exchange for the low price. Pros: Very compact, low price, excellent image quality, good color, good build quality, easy to use, good remote Cons: No HDMI input, remote not backlit The high lumens means this projector is very bright and can be used in a...
