Excellent picture quality and lightning. Lightweight and beautiful design.

Summary: Excellent picture quality. I was a little skeptic at first because not alot of people bought this compared to the Viewsonic one. But this projector has very vivid color, light-weight, very bright for a classroom setting even when light is on. I use this mostly for my Church teaching. Price has gone up because I remember buying it for $400.
Summary: During the past week I have used my Epson PowerLite X12 Projector in my science class. The brightness and image quality is excellent with very little adjustment needed. One of my requirements before purchasing any projector was to make sure it didn't need any required cool down time. After the bell rings I am moving to the next class down the hall and I don't have much time to wait.
Summary: This replaced my old Epson S3 which wasn't viewable with lights on. The resolution on this one is crisper and it's bright enough for viewing with the lights on. It sure gets hot, though, but not noisy.
Summary: When using both keystones it shrinks the screen some so it isn't touching any of the lit edges. Since I'm using it mostly with a wii the small loss of resolution is irrelevant. It isn't a problem unless using both keystones, which I am cuz I wanted it set up on a bookshelf so I can sit close to it underneath while playing. I found some conflicting information on which bulb it uses, now that I own one I haven't double checked to see which one it is.
Summary: I ordered and installed two of these projectors in classrooms at our church, using the V7 PM1U40 Universal Projector Ceiling Mount (also purchased on Amazon, but currently not available). The two rooms in which they are used are medium sized rooms (approx 30' x 20') and the projectors are mounted about 8 and 15 feet from their respective screens. The images are bright and crisp.
Summary: I use this for business. I love how it is bright enough to make a presentation without the need to turn out the lights. What I have enjoyed most is how easy it to setup and how flexible the setup is. When transporting a projector, you do not always have the perfect place to station the projector in relation to the screen.
