The Epson PowerLite S7 features 2,300 lumens color light output and 2,300 lumens white light output3 and SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. Features

The PowerLite S7 features extended lamp life with Epson's E-TORL® lamp technology that offers more lumens (brightness) per watt, leading to increased energy efficiency and cost savings over time. With the E-TORL Technology, lamp life can last up to 4,000 hours in economy mode, saving the cost of replacement E-TORL lamps. The projector also features USB Plug 'n Play connectivity with Epson's proprietary technology which allows users to set up and run presentations quicker by eliminating the need to deal with bulky VGA cables and screws and toggling between computer keys. Other features on the PowerLite S7 include audio-out connectivity which provides the ability to connect to an external audio device; built-in closed captioning decoder makes presentations accessible to viewers with hearing impairments with no added cost, and helps meet section 508 compliance; Epson 3-chip 3LCD Technology optical engine that delivers color and detail for presentations; keystone correction with 1.35x digital zoom and ability to operate in multiple classroom settings; and A/V Mute Slide that instantly turns off the sound and images to create a quick pause in the presentation, thus conserving lamp life and energy. The projector enters A/V Mute mode when the lens cover is closed and returns to normal mode automatically and immediately upon reopening the lens cover. The PowerLite S7 is part of Epson's Brighter Futures® program, a sales and support initiative that is available for schools and is designed to help educators select and implement the products for their classrooms. The Epson PowerLite S7 is available for $549 in October 2009.
