  • Summary: Personal Experience Picture quality was very good. We watch movies and sports a lot in home theater and it was great for both, when it worked. Vendor installed it so can't speak to features. It viewed great but certainly didn't last long for the price we paid. Something died in it about 3 months after the warantee expired and closest Epson-certified repairs were 100+ miles away - and they couldn't fix it. So, no more Epsons for us.

Epson 7500BU Home Theater Projector

  • Summary: I read many articles on the internet on home theater projectors...there are many on the market in the $2000 to $10,000 price range. The criteria that was important to me was brightness in lumens, quality of picture and ease of use. The Epson 7500BU has exceeded my expections in all three areas. With 1600 lumens, I can have lamps on in the room and the picture is just as bright as my LCD TV's!

  • Summary: Personal Experience I've updgraded from a BenQ PB6100. The Epson is far superior in all respects. Flexibility and picture quality are great. The picture is not as good as 1080p units but the price is much more reasonable! With a rebate and a free lamp, it's a great projector. Problems Unit shut off once due to overheating (although it may have been the heat from 10 over-exuberant and partially intoxicated guys immersed in a football game on the 100" screen)!

  • Summary: Personal Experience I'm very happy with the Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 810 projector. I had another projector for about 2 years because I didn't want to spend the money on a HD projector. Now that prices have dropped - I finally spent the money. Very good projector. No disappointments. The picture was perfect, straight out of the box. I would recomend a screen if you truly want a good picture.
