Love this projector

Summary: The picture on this is amazing. Much better than I expected. The built in speakers are loud enough to be heard outside, and the built in dvd player makes it great for setting up impromptu outdoor movie nights.
Nice projector, but not reliable for playing videos.

Summary: In my experience it is extremely unreliable for playing videos from a DVD, a thumb drive, a laptop, or YouTube (through the laptop). Video file names can only have alphanumeric characters. I have created videos in mpeg, and mp4 formats at a variety of resolutions using different codecs. Most do not play through the projector, either from an inserted DVD, thmb drive, or when played through my laptop, or from one of my YouTube videos.
Summary: Actually bought this to watch movies outside, widescreen and it's amazing. Clarity, projection, and sound are all great features. Would highly recommend this projector. I'm sure it's great for presentations as well, but I didn't buy if for that purpose. All you need is a huge white sheet and a place to hang it and it's like being at the drive-in!
Summary: This is an awesome projector! Picture quality is great. Sound quality is super for just the two speakers, very clear and crisp. Switching from DVD to powerpoint display is so easy. Just hit the source search button and you're done. I highly recommend this projector.
Summary: I have just run setup on the presenter and did a DVD presentation on the living room wall It was adjusted to perfect resolution and the sound (without any external speakers) was very good quality!
Summary: Personal Experience perfect for every need we have -- showing a DVD, presenting powerpoints, etc. We projected a show from the edge of a stage onto a huge screen on the back of the stage and the clarity and quality of the images was amazing.
Summary: I purchased this projector to present a slideshow I had produced myself to a group of 50 in a restaurant banquet room setting. My criteria was simple, it needed to be user friendly with a built- in DVD player that would play homemade DVDs, and speakers with ample volume. I stalled for weeks, reluctant to purchase due to the price. Finally, with time pressing in, my husband urged me to get the Epson PowerLite and I couldn't be happier.
Summary: This product is only advertising 1024 x 768 native when looking at some websites. No mention of resolution on the Box. However it has an HDMI input that will allow 1920 x 1080 resolution if you use the hdmi input.
