Summary: Great projector for it's price, i'm using it in a '140 inch screen and the brightness and color saturation is just beautiful. The 3D mode is pretty damn good too, and it's very bright. I'm very happy with this new projector, i got the 3020 version, it's a bit better in some aspects than the 3010.
Great home theater projector with sharp, bright and excellent contrast pic

Summary: I decided to move up to a HD projector and this one had all the features I was looking for. I love the brightness and contrast features best because I can see "dark" scenes in TV shows and movies much more clearly. I haven't tested out the 3D feature yet so I will wait until later to comment on that. It was very easy to set up but it was bigger and heavier than I expected. The one I purchased came with no detailed manual but I found one online.
Summary: Personal Experience This projector ROCKS!! Bought surround sound Samsung E5500 which has 3D included and the 1.4 HDMI cables out to the projector and absolutely amazed! The 3D is fantastic and better than going to the theater ... Plus I can make my own popcorn :) You will not go wrong with this projector. The speakers that are embedded in the unit are great as is.
Summary: The projector I received did not have the LCD panels aligned properly. The edge of all text was blurry and you could see that the red, green, blue was not aligned. I RMA'd and the second projector was the same way. I am coming from a Epson 8350 which this machine did not have this issue. It appears Epson quality is going downhill. I may sell this model and try out a different brand instead. Besides this issue it is a very nice projector.
Summary: Personal Experience This is our 2nd projector, replacing a 5 year old 720p DLP model (Mitsubishi HD-1000U) ceiling mounted with a 100" screen. I had a detailed set of expectations, including ease of fitment into our existing setup, more image brightness, and full 1080p support, and so far it meets them all. Great color, very bright image with good contrast even with the afternoon sun streaming in from the next room.
Summary: Personal Experience I do not see any problem with this projector. I was afraid to buy 3D projector because of so many different opinions on using shutter glasses on the top of proscription one . Do not listen to them. Just buy it ! Shutter glasses fits perfectly over proscription glasses and picture is clear, bright and sharp. It's hard to believe that this piece of art cost only $1450 .Simply awesome !!
Summary: Personal Experience I settled on this projector not because it has the best picture or the most features, but for the price, there's a lot packed into this. I've paired it with a 1.0 gain true to colour screen in a dedicated media room. with a 115 inch screen, images are stunning (I know there's better....but for the price point, it exceeds my expectations).
Summary: This is a great projector. Has alot.of features not shown off enough. Glad I purchased this unit. I have not yet maximized all it has to offer yet. 3 D is excellent. Could make it easier to obtain glasses.
Summary: Personal Experience BEST AND BRIGHTEST PROJECTOR FOR ALL AROUND USE IN NON DEDICATED HT ROOM OUT THERE (IN PRICE RANGE). 3D MODE IS AWESOME, WITH NO CROSSTALK AND BRIGHT, COLOR and blackS are much better than 99% of the more pricey 2d projectors I've seen, owned or used! EASY SETUP IF YOU LINE UP WITH TOP OR BOTTOM OF SCREEN AND USE ON CEILING MODE OR STANDARD MODE,RESPECTIVELT, SO I DID NOT MISS MY LENS SHIFTING PRIOR MODEL.
Summary: The best 3D projector in under $2000 range. No doubt. I'm happy with it. Very well designed, sharp and elegant image. 3D effect impressed me at fist time when I watch Avatar in Side by Side format (this projector combine 2 haft SBS or TAB itself. 2 comfortable active shutter glasses included.
