Would Buy Another!

Summary: Much better than any 3D HDTV!!! Very impressed with picture quality although the 3010e wireless would've been a better choice. Had issues after a few months where the top corners of the viewing area turned blue. Epson did not hesitate to send me an exchange unit that I have had now over a year and used it daily. No issues thus far. Thanks Epson for a better alternative to home cinema!
Summary: The good: Extremely bright - bright enough that the room doesn't have to be anywhere near completely dark for a good picture Extremely crisp picture Great colors and saturation Wide throw from a short distance to give you the biggest screen you can get in your space (Over 90" in a small bedroom size theater, no problem) Better than theater 3D No rainbowing as you'd get with a color wheel The bad Judder is noticeable on slow panning shots in movies Auto-iris, used to get...
Summary: I bought this unit at the insistence of my grandson and I'm glad I did. We just built a new home and have a dedicated media room. I have a 100 inch screen. I was considering a 60 inch big screen TV but got so much more for the money. I will warn you that you must be able to control the ambient lighting for the best picture. Sunlight through the window or an adjoining room will wash out the picture so you need to be able to block out all extraneous light sources.

Summary: The unit works pretty darn well. The air filter is easy to clean. I don't have a receiver, much less a speaker set, but you don't need any with this. Very strong and clear sound from the built in speakers. The dual display function is pretty neat, but I don't really see a use for it. The image size when outputting two screens is kind of small. I haven't used the 3D much but the glasses do fit over your regular eye wear.
Summary: Great projector for it's price, i'm using it in a '140 inch screen and the brightness and color saturation is just beautiful. The 3D mode is pretty damn good too, and it's very bright. I'm very happy with this new projector, i got the 3020 version, it's a bit better in some aspects than the 3010.
Summary: After reading reviews and doing research, and looking at products at the Consumer Electronics Show, I settled on the 3010 for my 3D home theater with 10' screen. It is far brighter than other projectors, allowing me to use "ECO" mode (low power and less fan noise) all the time, except with 3D movies, requiring more brightness. Longer bulb life than the competition helps too. I am a stickler for focus.
Great home theater projector with sharp, bright and excellent contrast pic

Summary: I decided to move up to a HD projector and this one had all the features I was looking for. I love the brightness and contrast features best because I can see "dark" scenes in TV shows and movies much more clearly. I haven't tested out the 3D feature yet so I will wait until later to comment on that. It was very easy to set up but it was bigger and heavier than I expected. The one I purchased came with no detailed manual but I found one online.
