The Epson PowerLite 905 is a projector that supports XGA resolution, 3000 lumens brightness and features a 16-watt speaker and microphone input, HDMI connectivity for audio and video with one cable and RJ-45 for presenting content over the network, broadcasting important messages and monitoring and controlling a networked projector remotely. The Epson PowerLite 905 also features 3000 lumens of color and white light output with XGA resolution, and is powered by 3LCD, 3-chip technology.

The Epson PowerLite 905 also supports internal 16-watt speaker fills the classroom with sound, a microphone input that allows users to connect it to a microphone so that their voice can be heard during presentation, built-in closed captioning decoder makes presentations accessible to viewers with hearing impairments; HDMI digital connectivity which allows for connection to the latest devices for high-quality video and audio with just one cable; Advanced Networking that lets users remotely deliver video and audio presentations over the network with the included EasyMP® Network Projection software; ability to broadcast announcements, event flyers, updates and instructions; optional wireless functionality via a wireless module; Virtual Remote which allows users to use a virtual projector remote control on their computer via a web browser when connected to a network; pre-designed line and graph pattern templates or customizable images aid in instruction which saves time when drawing lines and grids on a whiteboard or blackboard; USB Plug ‘n Play compatibility, 1.6x optical zoom that supports a larger range in projector placement and produces larger images from shorter throw distances; +30 degree automatic vertical keystone correction and +30 degree horizontal keystone correction; Direct Power On and Off that lets users power on and off with a flip of a wall switch; Instant On/Off® which enables users to avoid delays when starting and finishing presentations and be up and running in only five seconds; A/V Mute Slide which stops the sound and picture to allow for a quick pause in the presentation; and Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology for up to 6,000 hours of lamp life in economy mode. The Epson PowerLite 905 will be available for $999 in March 2011.
