Mostly Satisfied

Steve, visualapex.com

  • Summary: We have the 8350 projector ceiling mounted in a theater room. Distance to 110 inch screen is about 9 feet. We have used the projector for a about a year and a half now. The image is bright, even with some window shades open. Remote is easy to use, and intuitive.

Second one works well

HTphile, visualapex.com

  • Summary: I bought this for my dedicated home theater when we finished the basement. The room is fully dark with no windows and is about 12'x20'. I bought the projector in March of 2013 but due to delays, it wasn't installed (ceiling mount) until December of 2013.

Beautiful picture, smooth and quiet functioning, just be aware of its behemoth size and a couple of caveats

  • Summary: It has been over a year now since I bought the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350, and this HD projector has certainly changed my life as a cinephile. While its 1080p high definition is most mindblowing for films like or in their Blu-ray editions, even old black and white classics are just nicer to...

User Review

  • Summary: We've been using the 8350 projector for over a year and love the big picture and color. Our one complaint is the lamps have gone out on us a few times and yes it is a hassle but we love the over all quality of the picture. We dont want to give up the big screen. We love the projector.

Epson 8350

Ray, Crutchfield
18 February 2014
  • Summary: Install and setup are easy. Picture quality is excellent. We hung it from the ceiling. One item giving a challenge is now keeping it locked from tilting. Seems like no matter how much we tighten the set screws it still tends to need an occasional adjustment.
  • Pros: Excellent product at an excellent price
  • Cons: Could have used a better setup booklet

Not the absolute best, but not $2500 either......

fishracer66, Ebay

  • Summary: I bought this projector after carefully studying the reviews on the internet. Despite the known issues (discussed later here), I felt it had two things going for it: 1. This projector is probably one of the most popular out there in terms of sales, meaning parts and lamps are going to be readily...
