Mostly Satisfied

Steve, visualapex.com

  • Summary: We have the 8350 projector ceiling mounted in a theater room. Distance to 110 inch screen is about 9 feet. We have used the projector for a about a year and a half now. The image is bright, even with some window shades open. Remote is easy to use, and intuitive. Adjusting the lens for screen size and focus is very straightforward, and it seems to hold focus without the need for adjustments. Family who use remote seem to figure out functions easily.

  • Summary: I bought this for my dedicated home theater when we finished the basement. The room is fully dark with no windows and is about 12'x20'. I bought the projector in March of 2013 but due to delays, it wasn't installed (ceiling mount) until December of 2013. It worked well for the first month but then started giving me an Iris Error. I would unplug it and fire it back up and it would work fine.

Beautiful picture, smooth and quiet functioning, just be aware of its behemoth size and a couple of caveats

Christopher Culver, Amazon

  • Summary: It has been over a year now since I bought the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350, and this HD projector has certainly changed my life as a cinephile. While its 1080p high definition is most mindblowing for films like Baraka or 2001 A Space Odyssey in their Blu-ray editions, even old black and white classics are just nicer to watch on your very own home big screen. I can't believe I ever watched films off a laptop screen.

  • Excerpt: We've been using the 8350 projector for over a year and love the big picture and color. Our one complaint is the lamps have gone out on us a few times and yes it is a hassle but we love the over all quality of the picture. We dont want to give up the big screen. We love the projector.
