Summary: I bought this projector for a stock trading group, and it worked great for that purpose. It will connect easy to any laptop, large viewing area and clean image. The downside is when I use it for watching movies by projecting them on the wall at home. Color sometimes isn't as great as I would like, and although you can adjust that, it seems as it isn't true to the source image. The moving image seems to jerk sometimes.
Summary: Personal Experience Excellent low-budget projector. Long lamp life, relatively light and quiet, fast start up and shut down. Image quality is very good but the contrast is low, requiring very dim or completely dark rooms for the best viewing experience. Does not perform very well in average lighting conditions. Aside from that, I would recommend this projector to anyone. Problems Low contrast, substandard remote, no analog image correction (aside from zoom).
Summary: Very easy to use and economical as everybody else have already mentioned. We are waching movies at home in economy mode (a little bit loud in the other one) and after 2 years of continuous usage (No TV at home and in the winter nights, it was heavily used...), we have no problem with the projector; no lamp change and I had to clean the air filter only once (it was very easy to do it).
Summary: I wanted to buy a good projector for my back yard drive-in project So I read up on the Epson powerlite 77c and heard lots of good feedback .. and when I received the projector it was just as good as I read about .. Very happy with the picture and what the projector can do ..who knew you could use it to have a Drive-in in your own yard !!!
