Great value, just realize it's not the best, there are some notable cons.

Summary: I bought this projector for a home theater set-up and it works very well for its purpose. Pros: 1. Inexpensive- thanks to the fact it's not brand new, it is much more affordable! 2. Decent picture, image is relatively adjustable through the buttons on the device 3. Lightweight and easy to attach to a rack/ceiling mount. Cons: 1. The video quality doesn't do well with intense patterns such as stripes without the multicolor glare effect. 2.
Summary: I wanted to hook it up to a docuement camera for my classroom. This particular projector does not work for that purpose. Hopefully I will get a refund & another bidder can use it for home entertainment/video games.
Summary: Personal Experience We had 25 of these units. Some of them had to be replaced under warranty as many as 5 or 6 times. After months of wrangling with Epson, they finally agreed to replace all of them with refurbished 77C's. Problems Power supply failures. Fan failures. We lost credibility with many of our important customers because of numerous failures in the field. We lost thousands of dollars in lost sales and third party replacement rental charges.
Summary: Personal Experience I was very confused which projector to buy because it is first time I am going to buy one. But because I am using EPSON electronics from along time and never faced problems with their technology so I went and bought this EXCELLENT projector. The picture is very bright and the features are very easy to handle. Even its look is nice. It comes with a black case and it looks really nice. You dont have to hesitiate if you want to buy 3LCD or DLP.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought a refurbished unit that comes with a 2 year Epson warranty and a brand new lamp and I couldn't be happier. Simple to use, great quality image and video, low brightness mode is PLENTY bright, fan is very quiet. I know this is billed as a "business" projector but I'm using this as a coffee table projector to watch movies mainly. I don't often use it in the day but it does ok even on low brightness mode.
Summary: Personal Experience I upgraded to this projector from the Epson powerlite S3 this is brighter and with the better resolution 1024X768 it works great with the Xbox 360 which is what I use it for the most. not sure about how well it will last but the S3 seemed to holdup well.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought this projector a few months ago for $499(refurbished). It is an amazing projector. I use it for my home theater in a light-controlled room. Image quality looks great at 110". I'm expanding my movie collection just for this projector. I have it hooked up to my PC which has an HDTV tuner, and the picture quality is great! It's perfect for games too. For the Price, You can't go wrong. Problems Problems??? What Problems?
