The Epson PowerLite 4200W is an installation projector that is designed for medium to large meeting spaces in corporations, higher-education, K-12, and houses of worship. It supports 4,500 lumens of color and white light output, features WXGA (1200 x 800) resolution, is powered by 3LCD, 3-chip technology; supports closed captioning, and functional design elements that allows for lamp and air filter replacement, centered lens design, a range of horizontal and vertical lens shift, Quick Corner for image positioning, off-axis tilt function for installation flexibility, and a 1.8x zoom lens.

Features

The Epson PowerLite 4200W is a projector that has features such as lens shift, Quick-Corner and a 1.8x centered lens that allows users easier installation, especially rooms with obstacles such as ceiling ducts to work around. It features C2Fine™ Technology and advanced vertical alignment technology that provides high contrast for deeper blacks and vivid images; DICOM Simulation Mode which is a specialized imaging function that uses standardized grayscale to reproduce medical images, such as x-rays, for medical training and education; Six-Axis Color Adjustment which allows users to customize colors by adjusting the hue, saturation, and brightness of RGBCMY(red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow) for special projection materials such as high-quality photographs or artwork; Advanced Sharpness which allows users to adjust sharpness more precisely for thin, thick, vertical, and horizontal line enhancements; four Test Patterns included for different applications for setup and image customization; Epson EasyMP® monitor control that allows content to be sent over the IP and Epson Easy Management® which allows for network monitoring and maintenance. The PowerLite 4200W retails for $2689 beginning November 2010 and comes with a two-year limited warranty that includes two elite technical support services – two-year Epson PrivateLine® phone support and a two-year Road Service projector replacement program.
