Great projector, excellent price!

Rick E. Ruge "Read The Reviews", Amazon
11 January 2011
  • Summary: It's bright enough, small enough and has a very short throw lens for making a very large image in only about a 6 foot projection distance. It's a great buy. The model above it is over $300 more and pretty much offers a wireless connection for the extra money.

Epson Powerlite 730 would recommend to a friend

Jeanmarie "good consumer", Amazon
5 December 2010
  • Summary: We own a small business and needed a compact projector to do training. This was extremely easy to set-up, very light to travel with and the clarity on screen was excellent. We did a Skype presentation and could not believe how clear our speaker was on screen. Two Thumbs up!!

great replacement

Anonymous, Newegg
30 September 2010
  • Pros: I'm using this in a classroom with bad shutters and I can make out things a lot better than I could with my old projector. I did not buy this from newegg but I do buy a bunch of stuff here and have always gotten my stuff promptly. I had to wait 2 weeks for this projector to arrive from another ve...
  • Cons: Could use a longer cord.

Narada "the wondering jew", Amazon
22 March 2010
  • Summary: This product was very easy to set up (with a Windows notebook, haven't tried it with a Mac), is very quiet, very sharp picture, and I routinely use it instead of my notebook's 12" screen.

Epson Powerlite 1730W review

Glenn Randall, Amazon
17 September 2009
  • Summary: Straight out of the box, the images projected by this projector when connected to my Dell Precision M4300 laptop closely matched images on my well-calibrated, highly accurate Samsung Syncmaster XL20 monitor connected to my Dell Precision T5400 workstation.

Epson projector - excellent product

Sacha De Carlo, Amazon
13 February 2009
  • Summary: Pros: This projector is a very good choice for home entertainment as well as work in an office or in the lab [my case]. Native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution in wide screen makes it useful for most laptops and desktop computers. It is very bright even when operated in economy mode [3000 lumen].

Presentation Projector

Donald J. Lang "Don Lang", Amazon
11 February 2009
  • Summary: I was very satisfied with the projector, especially the small and light dimensions, the brightness and quality of the picture it puts out and how it has the instant power shut off. However, I would have wished the automatic hand control was equipped with a laser pointer.

EPSON Projector

Sacha D., Newegg
4 February 2009
  • Summary: In essence, a must buy! Clear, bright and sharp images/videos at a very reasonable price. I had a D**L projector before and I regret I didn't trust EPSON to begin with!
  • Pros: This projector is a very good choice for home entertainment as well as work in an office or in the lab [my case]. Native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution in widescreen makes it useful for most laptops and desktop computers. It is very bright even when operated in economy mode. The self adjusting feat...
  • Cons: The VGA cable is rather short but can be replaced with a 10ft super-VGA shielded video cable for about $20.

5 stars says it all

Nick Brump, pcRUSH.com

  • Summary: Comments about Epson PowerLite 1730W: I am a professor and teach 32 classes a week and have as many as 115 students in a class. I wanted to make sure this was going to be able to keep up with my crazy semesters and this has proved to be a very reliable machine.
  • Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use
