Great projector, excellent price!

Rick E. Ruge "Read The Reviews", Amazon
11 January 2011
  • Summary: It's bright enough, small enough and has a very short throw lens for making a very large image in only about a 6 foot projection distance. It's a great buy. The model above it is over $300 more and pretty much offers a wireless connection for the extra money. Epson says the lamp will last up to 4000 hours. We'll see. I wish that it had two VGA input's for my particular use, but not many projectors in the price range do.

Epson Powerlite 730 would recommend to a friend

Jeanmarie "good consumer", Amazon
5 December 2010
  • Summary: We own a small business and needed a compact projector to do training. This was extremely easy to set-up, very light to travel with and the clarity on screen was excellent. We did a Skype presentation and could not believe how clear our speaker was on screen. Two Thumbs up!!

excellent monitor replacement

Narada "the wondering jew", Amazon
21 March 2010
  • Summary: This product was very easy to set up (with a Windows notebook, haven't tried it with a Mac), is very quiet, very sharp picture, and I routinely use it instead of my notebook's 12" screen.

Epson Powerlite 1730W review

Glenn Randall, Amazon
17 September 2009
  • Summary: Straight out of the box, the images projected by this projector when connected to my Dell Precision M4300 laptop closely matched images on my well-calibrated, highly accurate Samsung Syncmaster XL20 monitor connected to my Dell Precision T5400 workstation. This is precisely what I hoped this projector would deliver.

Epson projector - excellent product

Sacha De Carlo, Amazon
12 February 2009
  • Summary: Pros: This projector is a very good choice for home entertainment as well as work in an office or in the lab [my case]. Native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution in wide screen makes it useful for most laptops and desktop computers. It is very bright even when operated in economy mode [3000 lumen]. The self adjusting feature is very good, like for instance the auto keystone. The menu is easy to navigate, and efficient. The lamp is good, and doesn't heat up too much.

Presentation Projector

Donald J. Lang "Don Lang", Amazon
11 February 2009
  • Summary: I was very satisfied with the projector, especially the small and light dimensions, the brightness and quality of the picture it puts out and how it has the instant power shut off. However, I would have wished the automatic hand control was equipped with a laser pointer.

5 stars says it all

Nick Brump, pcRUSH.com
29 December 2008
  • Summary: Comments about Epson PowerLite 1730W: I am a professor and teach 32 classes a week and have as many as 115 students in a class. I wanted to make sure this was going to be able to keep up with my crazy semesters and this has proved to be a very reliable machine. The student sitting in the back of the room can easily see the screen and I have been told by students to loan the projector to other teachers who also use this as a teaching tool!
  • Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use
