Summary: i bought the moviemate 2 years ago instead of a big screen tv. i was really really happy with it for a year and then we started getting pink splotches all over the white parts of the screen. i called and got it replaced with no problem. the people at epson were wonderful to work with. my second moviemate was just as great as the first one at first. we used it constantly until, like the first one, after a year something went wrong.
Summary: The Epson Moviemate is a great purchase for anyone who needs to be flexable with their space or location. It is versitle enough to work with most computer systems and also works well Powerpoint or documents. DVD player is also a plus. Very pleased with purchase here.
Summary: Excellent for easy family use and personal use for movie nights outside or inside. Great for slide show/DVD/Picture presentations. Compatible to use with computer or other equipment like Wii games.
Summary: This sleek MovieMaker has been in our house for only a few days, and we are already in love with this projector. The clarity and luminosity are stunning, and while it doesn't quite make it to full HD, 480p is still pretty impressive. The plug and play feature makes connecting external devices a breeze - though Mac users should know that the USB drive only accepts PC-formatted drives.
Summary: We use this device to watch "MOVIES UNDER THE STARS" at our lake house. Real easy to use, but real expensive for what you get. I suggest doing some more research on buying a less expensive unit- or wait until the price comes way down.
Summary: I was nervous about spending so much money on a projector, but I can honestly say that I am very, very pleased with the MovieMate 55. It is extremely easy to set up, very portable, and projects sound far better than you would expect. I have used this projector both indoors and outdoors. Inside, you can project the image on just about any wall you want...both light colored and dark colored walls work! Outside, it is a dream come true.
Summary: Personal Experience Great easy projector for set up, and picture quality. It is not top of the line, but you don't spend your time looking at noise areas or poor blacks, like other cheaper projectors. I run via the minijack out (headphones) self powered speakers to give it a big sound to match the image. Go with the screen deal, the screen is brilliant in it's design, durable and easy set up too.
Summary: The projector was bought for use in Tanzania. It was easy to transport in my carry-on luggage as it is so light and compact. It is also very easy to use. Initially, it will be used for health education in rural areas - with the use of a generator or an inverter.
Summary: Great purchase. Worked right out of the box and my husband didn't even need the instructions! we use it for the backyard with an inflatable movie screen and the volume is great - didn't even need to hook up extra speakers. Highly recommend, well worth the money.
Summary: My Movie Mate 55 arrived about 3 weeks ago and we watched about 15 movies on it to date. Some I played right thru the machine, some thru another DVD player and some from my Satellite Dish Network. Picture was awesome from all sources. Easy to set up, adjust and control. One thing I wish were better is there is no RCA jacks for audio out when playing a DVD from the machines DVD slot but the built in speakers work well if you are not looking for Surround Sound from your...
