Summary: The projector is nice and clear, however the picture is way too large for the screen. When we show it in the backyard you can see the picture on the whole back of the house. If anyone knows of a particular brand for the screen please let me know. I would recommend this product with the correct screen.
Summary: I bought my projector and screen package at Sam’s wholesale club. 6 months later I am getting a warning to replace the lamp. I call Epson technical support and ask how long they rate the bulbs for. Tech support states the bulbs are rated for 3000 hours, and proceeds to walk me through finding how many hours I have on my bulb. 1990 hours have been logged for my bulb. That’s 1010 hours under what the bulb is rated for.
Pros: Cheap, decent picture
Cons: Customer service Manual adjustments Defaults to DVD. cannot mount inverted Large and very bulky.
Summary: I have had my projector now for 4 years, and have not had any problems, I am still surprised that the bulb has lasted this long, and I have and use my projector several times a week and most of the time looking at two movies at a session Will up grade to a newer one sometime this year, and use this one in my bedroom if I don't give it to my daughter.
Summary: Personal Experience excellent projector for the money. Included 80" screen which I have replaced with 120" The only thing I did not like was no composite inputs or hdmi from my TV and that they are located on front of projector other than that picture quality is great and have had no issues.
Summary: We have used this projector several times since our purchase a month ago. The picture is amazing, and it has many neat features that work really well with our family (of 8!!). My husband loves the 'coffee break' feature, which leaves a blank screen while the movie is on pause. He also likes that it has a bulb life monitor, so we have an idea of how much longer the bulb will last.
Summary: This is quite a good deal for the price. It is not only a projector, though bulky, it is also a ready movie/presentation kit with speakers and all. If you want the full movie experience, just get a microphone/RCA stereo y-adapter and plug it in to a home theater amp with speakers. It is really great. Although it does need a dark room, what else would you want for a movie experience. From 25 feet, it throws an image over 12 feet wide with nice resolution.
Summary: While this projector could be a little better, it's darn good for the price. The only problems with the projector (1) are that you have to put it up high because the projector can't shift the image to project upwards much; (We have to set it on a coffee table on top of a few text books to get the image to fit the 80in screen hanging from our roof.
