Summary: Have watched many movies outside by the pool! Much fun! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is the sound is not really loud enough. When the nighttime bugs are louder than the movie...it is just wrong. Even so on quiet nights it is fun. Reminds me of going to the drive in.
Summary: Great picture! I use this to project from my DirecTv receiver to watch football games outside. Internal speakers are just adequate. Wish the projector had audio out. Good value for the money though.
Summary: I absolutely love this!!!! The only issue we have is for some reason it gets overheated from time to time and we are not sure why. The company replaced it once already but it is still doing it. That aside it is awesome indoors and out!!
Summary: I really like this projector. It has lots of ways to connect to it and the image is pretty good. My only complaint is its size. It seems really large in comparison to many of the projectors on the market right now.
Summary: I think my review will be similar to the ones I remember reading prior to purchase. The video is great, I have mine set up as an approx 124" screen. I just recently finished the wall I am using. I found a part I didn't mud so well, and filled it in. Not having painted over the patch yet, I can see where it is with the projector on, but it doesn't ruin the game/movie. The speakers are acceptable.
Summary: All the previous reviews are spot-on. Great projector overall. For my purposes, I am using it for outdoor movies, sports events. I can project onto side of house (off-white siding) or use a screen. I purchased a snap together 120" screen that works great too. On the house, I can make the image HUGE. Plenty of light output. When viewing the HUGE image at night from across the yard/pool area you don't even notice the siding lines.
Good but need a workaround for projecting Hi-Res images

Summary: Good projector BUT...photos from my iPad (original) were not full resolution. I had to do some research to find out why. The projected images are limited to the device (so says the in-depth manual). Thus the small resolution of the iPad resulted in low-res projected images. To get full resolution from the iPad you must purchase an Apple Digital AV adaptor for $39.00. But on this iPad you can only playback the slideshow and video's.

Summary: After playing with the Epson MegaPlex MG-850 HD for two weeks, I got PC Magazine's December 2011 issue, which gave the projector an "Editor's Choice" award. I was glad to see I wasn't crazy. PC Magazine's conclusion was that the MG-850 was "worthy of its own Editors'Choice by virtue of its versatility plus its data and video quality." I'd have to agree. It seems you can connect almost anything to this sexy beast, although not a VGA cable (older laptop users beware!).
