Summary: Since I bought this for the office I haven't heard a single complaint from people who use that meeting room. The projector is a little too large to carry on airplanes comfortably but I guess you could still do it.
Summary: I was a bit skeptical on the quality and value of this purchase, but I feel like I've gotten my money's worth and then some. Its quite light weight and portable. The image quality is very high for the price we paid.
Summary: This was ordered for my church to replace and older one. What a difference! It is used weekly, easy to use and has worked flawlessly. Researched several and this one was definitely the best bang for the buck!
Summary: I have nothing bad to say about the unit. I just really don't understand why I have to remodel my living room every time I buy a new projector. They are never made to replace an existing one otherwise they would make them standard for the image to fit on the screen from the same distance from the wall.
Summary: Much brighter than our other (brand) projector. The picture quality is also phenomenal! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a high-end projector at a reasonable price. It is NOT 1080p, but you would never know it by the picture quality. Great job, Epson!
Summary: While the picture quality of this projector is wonderful. The lamp life is much to be desired. After purchasing this projector 18 months ago, I am already on the third lamp. At Epson replacement lamp cost of $200, this is a very expensive proposition. (Disclaimer: Epson replaced the first lamp as it was within the 1 year warranty period.) The published lamp life in the "ECO" setting is 5000 hrs. The first lamp lasted less than 1500 hrs.
Summary: Excellent image quality, bright white, bright colors. Very easy to adjust the projection size and angle, though I do sometimes wish I could make the image smaller when my projector is far from a smallish screen. It goes large very easily.
Excerpt: I purchased this to use with movies and video games. Cost of pojector and screen is much less than a simmilar size TV. With all of the options to connect wth it I can plug anything I have into it. Projecting onto a 120" wide screen. Great resolution at that size. Not getting full 120" as games are not widescreen format but we are using full height. Very bright so out door use for movies in the pool this summer should be fine.
Pros: Clear Display, Easy To Use, Quiet, Small Footprint
Summary: I've been enjoying this for just over a year now mostly for the PC free slide show ability. The image quality is awesome and can be readily viewed without the total darkness required of by older (non-digital) slide projectors. I use Eco mode exclusively. In a fully lit room you might need the brighter setting. I love the portability and ease up setup. I also use it at work for presentations.
Summary: I got this so that I would never have to depend on someone elses equipment, after an evening of malfunctions. It is nice to have a reliable, bright, easily adjustable means of displaying media.
