The EMP TW700 is a home cinema projector with a D5 LCD that gives out a native resolution of 720 p with an aspect ratio of 16:9, and a pixel number of 1280 by 720 pixels. Its lens can be manually focused and magnified with a zoom ratio of 1.0:2.1. The projector makes use of a UHE E-TORL lamp of 170 watts.

While pictures are generally impressive there's little to elevate the TW700's performance above those of its LCD competitors, while DLP projectors are still preferable for truer cinematic images demanding higher contrast levels. Having said that, the TW700's high level of versatility is hard to match at almost any price point. Read more
