  • Summary: I have been using this projector in a high school classroom. We are a little over a month into the year, and dead pixels are starting to appear on the screen.

Expensive, useless trash

  • Summary: These projectors look create and are very impressive while they work. Unfortunately, they are utter junk in terms of quality are pretty much guaranteed to fail you. I support a school that has purchased a dozen of these and they have all failed in less than 2 years. Many have been replaced by Dell several times. It's the same issue every time; the LCDs go bad and display a bunch of white pixels all over the screen, ruining the image.

S300

  • Summary: I've tried the optoma H66 and sent back because of bad issues with the rainbow effect caused I strain and headaches, I know most of this rainbow flickering is using DLP projectors. Didn't see that issue with this PJ, I guess every Pj is differant and Im glad because I can't wait to test out the 3D..
  • Pros: Not bad at all for Dell, meaning I know them for PC's but I didn't think they made pretty good projectors as well. very bright for 2200 lumens. Easy menu for setting up the way you like. The picture is huge, even from 5 ft you get an awesome size picture and sharpness.
  • Cons: Not much to focus with, it all depends on the distance you are to the image on screen, it's not like you can make it alittle more sharper then what the auto focus does for you.
