Summary: First of all, I did not buy it from amazon, I am one of the loyal fans of amazon as to buying great stuff and receiving excellent services from, I purchased this projector directly from Dell.com in Jan.
Summary: I had the same issue of color shifting/flickering as another reviewer, and I'm not deployed overseas. I called Dell and they had me go through a scripted troubleshooting process and deemed it defective. Pretty straightforward, I figured they'd just replace it since it was only a few weeks old.
Best Mirco/Portable/Budget projector for mobile/office/home needs
J. Katayama, Amazon
25 July 2013
Summary: This item was not purchased online through Amazon, but through Dell directly as I had gift cards to spend. Overall, the prices listed on Amazon with no tax and free shipping may come out to be better, but you should compare the prices. As for the projector, I have had it for about a month now.
Summary: It does exactly what it says it does and it is lightweight. You do have to be attentive to how it's setup, it'll tip over quite easily if not setup properly, even with the smallest of devices attached. All in all, it was a $47 tripod - about $46 too much.
Summary: Firstly, I didn't purchase this through Amazon; I got it from Newegg. I had it rush processed and shipped to me in Afghanistan. Even rushed it took 20 days to get to me. I set it up on a tripod with an HDMI cable hooked into my laptop.
Summary: This is the smallest project I've ever seen but is still so powerful and the image is such high quality. The minor downside is the VGA cord. First, the VGA cord should be longer. My laptop can only be 3 feet or less from projector.
