Summary: The majority people who watch high-definition videos from my ceiling-mounted Dell 5100mp on a 120" screen are extremely impressed. With 3300 lumens virtually covering an entire wall in my living room in 720p, it provides a true theater experience. It trumps any in-home video I have personally witnessed. Previously, I had owned a Dell 2300mp projector with only 1024 x 768 resolution and 2300 lumens.
Summary: Personal Experience I've been using this unit mounted on the ceiling of my lounge for 3 years. I have it connected to my PS3 via HDMI and to a PC over DVI via a DVI to the M1 connector and to my WII via component. The image is seriously bright. During power on the screen goes white whilst ramping up power to the bulb.
Summary: Personal Experience The projector has very good resolution, and is good for computer graphics only. Video was not so great. My NEC LT260K smoked it. I just sold the Dell, and kept my NEC. Learn from my mistake, and stay away! Problems no problems...not good at all for HT.
