Summary: Personal Experience This is our first projector. Purchased used w/500 hrs. on lamp for $450.00 including 83" screen. Sold screen and bought 108" 16:9. Although I realize this not a top of the line projector, we've been very happy with the quality in relation to the price we paid.
Summary: Personal Experience If you've used $3000 projectors before maybe you will be disappointed. But take it from someone who wanted a larger tv but couldn't afford a plasma...this $699 was the best investment I've made in a LONG time. I went from a 31" tv to a 8' tv in less than 20 minutes.
Summary: Personal Experience Bought this as my first HT projector for around $600. I really wanted a "nice" projector for around $2000+ but I was concerned about overspending and not likeing the results. I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with this projector and FOR THE MONEY, I don't think it can be beat.
Summary: Personal Experience ---------------- PRICE: I scored this Dell 1100 MP + Dalite 84" Screen for$580 shipped. ----------- VALUE: I have to say that FOR THE MONEY, this is the best projector one can get. It's got a 1 year warranty and I got a free screen.
Summary: Personal Experience With almost 200 hrs in, I am impressed with the quality of the picture. Remember you get what you pay for. Easy set up, a great little unit for fist time user. Problems Remote needs to be aimed directly at sensor to work.
Summary: Personal Experience It's my first projector. The size is small and the picture quality is very good at the price level. It comes with a 4:3 100" electric white screen for free. Problems Have to cope with the cooling system. May be an extra cooling fan.
Summary: Personal Experience This projector has me fairly impressed. While it is not "true HD," high definition cable and DVD's look very good on it. I did have to tint my windows and add heavy drapes in the living room to make daytime viewing possible, but at night, it is great.
Summary: Personal Experience I bought the Dell 1100MP for 726.00 and very very pleased with it for the price. Set up for use was extremely easy. Impressively sharp and bright in day or night for video and slides via DVD. Had projector for 2 months, will highly recommend. Problems None yet.
