Summary: I have had this product for almost two years and it is still going strong. I use it about 5 hours a day every day. The size allows me to move it where I need it without much fuss. I use this projector for presentations for various groups I work with as well as for personal entertainment. I travel quite a bit and this fits into a medium sized laptop bag or into a back pack as a carry-on.
Summary: it is a very good projector, but now (after 16 months of purchase) i am seeing grain like feel towards the extreme right side of the projection... I brought this piece from US but got relocated after couple of months and now i don't know how to go about it outside US. I am trying to get e-repair but uncertain at the moment... I was extremely cautious with the product as I brought a UPS, shock proof bag so that there should be any physical/power supply ailments.
Awfull!....only 748 hours of use and motherboard gone....$500 for repair

Summary: The projector seemed ok during its first year. I watched 748 hours of great entertainment. Now the laser or "red" color stopped working "Out of the blue". The bad news is that I sent the projector out of the USA and there's no service shop where I can take it. It's basically wasting US$300-500 trying to take it back to USA to see if it has repair or to forget about the US$1,000.00 I spent on it and just buy a new Optoma or Viewsonic that do have easy service outside USA,...
Summary: Personal Experience Projector very loud, almost impossible to use it at its maximum brightness, my only used in Eco-Mode 2 because of the annoying noise. The image also fall short in putting two EcoMode maximum brightness was good but the noise pareia misses a very high vacuum, poor disturbed the meeting.
Summary: Personal Experience Had about a month, replaced an old SharpVision xv-z9000u, very happy very bright can even watch during the day. Awesome Quailty with PS3 & Blu-ray Problems Fan A little loud on "normal mode" very acceptable at eco 1 or eco 2
Summary: Very portable, easy use, great brightness. The video quality is great for a datashow. I'm using also as a home theater, and for me its good enough. Maybe the best you can get from a LED projector.
Summary: After Purchasing and getting home eager to set up i took down my old projector (SharpVision xv-z9000u was 11k new in 2001) which i have been very pleased, hooked up the new casio and BAM the whole room was lit up with very rich and vibrant color, and then after some calibration and moving the fan down to eco mode two i popped on some 1080p videos on my playstation, they were amazing, moved to some online gaming and same experience, so far a very awesome 10 hours!
Summary: For those who have many speaking engagements this is an awesome tool to carry around. It's not too heavy, it's very thin and portable. Yet, despite its size anne weight, you don't loose in the potential. It does an excellent job with keystone and auto-focus, it has zoom capabilities which is great so you don't have to move the projector back and hence also move a computer back with it. It does a very good job in fairly bright settings.
Summary: Pros - Bright, small, good picture; VERY sharp for text/data, yellows/blues very vibrant. No whacky/expensive bulb to replace in 2-3 years. Frickin' lasers, people, LASERS... No discernable (to me) "rainbow" effect (though others may be more sensitive to this). Cons - Color blows (not much red), not 1080P, no HDMI input, hot (not-too-bad), loud (not-too-bad). Heavy (not-too-bad). Overall - Primarily for traveling/data presentation.
Summary: I have used this super-bright and very small projector indoors for a home workshop, in my home office, and outdoors for a home movie party and it excelled in all three places. Having both the HDMI and VGA inputs make it very versatile. The automatic keystone correction and built-in speaker means that I have set it up in my cramped office to project on a wall in front of me with no problems. The only drawback is the fact that it is a bit loud.
