Once you have experienced the LCOS technology on Projectors you are hooked. Compare to LCD and DPL technologies it gives a more smothlike image. The “fill factor” is one of reasons for this. Other projector manufacturers using this technology are Sony and JVC. Sony on some of their premium models.

The good thing with the sx60 compared to the JVC and the Sony models are the larger lumen output, which projects a vivid and punch image even if there are some ambient light in the room.

Of course many see the sx60 as projector for computer presentations, CAD applications and images. But its qualities also make it excellent for movies.
