  • Summary: Personal Experience The refresh rate is low, fast moving bright areas will pixellate. Video picture quality is ok, but not great. It is HD ready - 720p max, but that would be interpolated, since the native resolution is 1024x768. Problems Purchased Aug. 2004. Worked fine until June 2006. Unit began to shut down w/o warning, no temp light. Returned for service. They replaced motherboard. Unit worked fine until Feb. 2007. Same problem.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I have used dozens of projectors, and this one is my favorite. The picture quality is outstanding for both data and video. So whether you use this for a home theater or education use or board room meetings, this will fit the bill. One of its best features include the ultra-wide angle zoom lens -- you can be far back from the screen/wall, or get very close and adjust the zoom lens to get the image just right.

  • Summary: Personal Experience I upgraded from a DLP SVGA (800 x 600) resolution 1200 lumen projector, and this Canon LV-7210 is SWEET! (I picked it up second hand.) I really like the LCD look compared to the DLP. Plus the 2000 lumens is much brighter. Wide angle zoom lens on this projector is phenomenal. Lots of hook ups, including DVI. You can purchase a component break-out cable to get component video (out of DVD player) through the VGA. Definitely a keeper!

  • Summary: Personal Experience The wide angle lense is great, you don't have to worry about needing a long room to get a decent size, I have it on the smallest zoom just to fit on my wall! However, the fan is noisy. Runs hot. Mine broke after 2 weeks (the bulb blew although there was no air restriction) I'm returning the projector to get my money back, not sure if I want to try again or get a different projector. Problems bulb popped after two weeks. $550!

  • Summary: Personal Experience A high resolution projector with very good performance. Image quality is very good at 1024*768. Image brightness is excellent at 2000Lux. Screendoor effect is not visible. Inbuilt zoom lens throws a large image at very close screen placement. Watched Return of the King with great results. In short an excellent value for its price. Got it at bargain rates from Costco. Best is the free bulb deal from Canon. Problems Runs hot.
