Summary: Personal Experience I just got this yesterday, but i just wanted to say how much i love this projector already. I previously had an Optoma HD65--and its like night and day. I'm getting a larger projected screen than the optoma and its sitting in the same spot.
Summary: Personal Experience I just got this projector on sale from woot. For the price I paid I couldnt have asked for a better projector. Colors look really good and the 2200 lumans really makes a difference in a living room with some ambient light. I am using this on a .8 gain high contrast screen.
Summary: Personal Experience This will actually be my third projector starting March of this year. Yeah, I really haven’t’ had a great first experience with projectors at all, had lots of problems.
Summary: I've had projectors going back about 10 years, all costing more than the BenQ, most many times as much. But the BenQ really holds its own and is a great value. Picture is very good, good reds, good blacks and shadows considering the also good brightness and relative budget price.

Summary: had it for two years and used it as my computer monitor in my bedroom its had constant use and the bulb warning only come on about 3 weeks ago, i bought a new lamp but have been waiting for the old bulb to die so the lamps do last a good amount of time
Summary: This is a fantastic machine! I've never owned a projector before and the price can vary so greatly on these things, that making a decision on which to chose can be pretty daunting. I believe that the BenQ W700 could possibly be the best projector for this sort of money...
Summary: great projector! bright enough even with the light on. easy to set up, great colour, nice look. It's the best projector you can get in this price range. (Buy from amazon warehouse deal, like new is actually new, with lots cheaper).
