Summary: Personal Experience Bought this as a present for myself, quite concerned 'cause i had to use a white painted wall instead of a proper screen, first time i used it i was amazed! Great picture quality, easy set up, absolutely no problems at all. I've also tryied 3d via pc (with nvida gtx 560ti and after a upgrade with a 760) and compatible 144hz 3d glasses from SainSonic and it worked like a charm! (imax stone cod scene is unbelievable!!
Summary: I was trying to decide whether to go with an Epson, with some cool wireless features, LED, and the ability to adjust for angle distortions from mounting in weird locations. I decided to go with the BenQ because it was great to mount it so close to my wall and get a huge screen. The colors are great, bright, and I can see it during the daytime even with significant light in the room.
Great experienace so far...just gave 4 Star but hoping I can bump it up to 5 soon :)

Summary: My case : I have been looking for a high qualiy projector for home theater use for couple of years. I did more detailed research for last 5-6 months and saw BENQ W1080ST with great reviews from users. 1. Why I selected this? - Short throw - Quire frankly, not sure how much awareness is there amoung consumers on 'Short Throw' projectors. - 1080P HD - Bigger screen means you Have to have Great quality HD display.
Summary: This is my second projector. I first purchased the 720p version which was good. I had it for a few months and decided that i really like projectors so i decided to upgrade to the 1080p model. the primary reason i upgraded was because i was noticing pixels and choppy text in certain situations. I know that 1080p would be a nice improvement and it was. WAY better.
Summary: The picture is a bright and beautiful, although it came out of the box set a little too green. I had to recalibrate some settings. I wish it could keystone horizontally (from side to side). The built-in speaker has as tinny quality. Plan on hooking this up to better speakers. The short-throw ability is very good, The fan noise is noticeable, but not overbearing. I hope the bulb lasts as long as it is purported to.
Summary: I have had the 1080ST for about six months now and have not had any issues with it thus far; plus, have enjoyed spending time with the family watching full 1080p cinema in my own home. I had waited for some time for a 1080 short throw projector to hit the market, namely for room layout and the ability to play interactive games like a WII or a Kinect without standing in the way. So when the 1080ST came out I decided to purchase one.
