Summary: Personal Experience I posted before on here and still hold the same high opinion of this projector... I am at about 1200 hours now and still going strong, image still looks great, havent had to adjust brightness yet either...
Summary: Personal Experience With some adjustments this projector is incredible. Makes my panasonic 700 look like crap. The video on this projector with a good dvd player has a film-like quality that is really amazing. 1080i also looks really good. Problems None so far. If you are using this projector with a PC you might need PowerStrip to force your video card to output 1024 x 576. This will give you razor-sharp video from your PC.
Summary: Personal Experience I just purchased this unit as a demo (59 hours on the lamp)in a store, for half the price ($1500.00 CAN). WHAT A DEAL! Easy to install, no problems whatsoever. We had our grand opening of the home theater last nice with the kids and Star Wars III. WELL! let me tell you! This is my first experience in projectors, and so far, an excellent one.
Summary: Personal Experience Great projector - awesome picture out of the box, easy to tweak, good backlit remote. Just like going to the movies - no screen door effect / no vertical banding or pixelation. Value for money. Problems Longer lamp life would be nice, needs a darkened room (save up for those block out curtains!). Fan noise only noticeable if trying to watch movies with low volume. Is heavy so ensure if mounting in ceiling you screw into beams!!
Summary: Personal Experience I've had the projector for a year, and the picture quality etc. is outstanding.I did have to exchange it once because of a malfunction, but BenQ got a new one to me within 48 hours. My only other quibble is that the HDTV cannot be connected through the HMDI. Outstanding value. This baby is a match for projectors costing twice as much.
Summary: Personal Experience the Picture on the Projector is Amazing, I think it is as good as the Optoma H77, and definitally better than the Infocus SP4805. The Deinterlacer is phenominal. My screen size is 120" inches and and at 9 feet back the PQ is very good, the PJ is also very quiet Problems no problems so far at around 400 hours
Summary: Personal Experience Had the projector for 8 months. Fantastic picture excellent contrast and black levels (using white 120" Dalite screen) Only small irritation is the variable fan speed. Even if the noise is not so high even on highest speed the change in speed from low to high can be noticable and a bit irritating during quiet scenes of the movie. However the overall impressions is that value for money is incredible! Problems No problems what so ever!
Summary: Personal Experience Have had this projector for two months and the picture is beautiful. Based on the price I paid it is excellent value for money. The resolution, while not true HDTV, is very close in reality when I compared it directly to it's higher rez brother, the 8700. If you don't want to spend double the money then this is the projector for you. HDTV looks even better, the Super Bowl never looked so good!
Summary: Personal Experience After comparing this projector with another one to over 8000$, the choice was clear - this is value for money...Spend the rest of the money on a good screen, repaint your home cinema room - or just by that SubWoofer you need.......
Summary: Personal Experience This projector exceeded all my expectations!!!. iI thought how good can it really be? well if you know what your local movie tehater looks like...well thats it!! I am projecting onto a matte white wall and it is incredible....awesome blacks and shadow detail...vibrant colors and perfect smooth pic for movies....HD is bright and Sharp!! My screen is 116" for 1.85:1 and 125" for 2.35:1 and the picture is incredible.
