Summary: Personal Experience best in all things image video pc game Problems don't make a reset lamp time by your self somebody help me????i have the codes give to me the benq assistance but i can't connect with hyperterminal..
Summary: Decent projector had a good picture and was bright enough to watch movies in low ambient lighting. My only gripe was it displayed fairly large pixels so if your sitting too close to the screen it could drive you bannanas, But if your sitting far back enough it does give a great movie experience for the price.
OK,,Approach with Caution and Knowledge plus a manual

Summary: OK,,Approach with Caution and Knowledge plus a manual. If you are going to buy this or a similar unit. This unit seems to work fine , but is not as easy to operate as the newer units to. It has one or two quirks which if one is a non manual reader then it shall be a head ache. Manual reading is a must. As to the quality of the image given the age of the unit I had no complaints. This unit when new was about $1200 +/- .
Summary: If you are new to Home Theater projectors, then this little unit is a great place to start. I have owned one for 3 years now. I have it ceiling mounted projecting onto a Draper Matte White 106" Diagonal manual (pull down) screen. The picture is bright and clear with none of the "rainbow" effect that DLP color wheels can create. You can't go wrong with this one.
Summary: Personal Experience If you are looking to purchase you first home theater projector, look no further. I have had one of these since they came out in 2004 - I use it for movies only and I am still on my first lamp. It is no longer in production, but if you happen to find one online, you would do well to pick it up.
Summary: Personal Experience BUY THIS ONE! It really is freakin' awesome. Believe me, I bought this thing like 2 years ago, and at the time it was the best for the money by far. I wanted a theater in my house...I have a 90" screen and the quality is really great, plus it has dvi in.
Summary: Personal Experience I purchased a BenQ PE5120 online without seeing one in action, and I'm not disappointed. At this price point, it represents excellent value for money. The image on my 70" custom made screen is bright, sharp and free from all but the slightest hint of screen door effect. I saw rainbows frequently when it was new but over time I barely notice them; my wife never notices it. The only drawback is a tendancy to blockiness and graininess on many DVDs.
Summary: Personal Experience I am really stunned by this projector performance. I can't believe that a few weeks back I was thinking about buying a 42" plasma... I use it ceiling mounted at a distance of 3.45 mts and projecting on a 16:9 white matte screen of 92"(with black borders). The cinematic feel at home is just amazing. I even managed my wife to justify the expenditure. The quality of the image enhances significantly via component video + progressive scanning.
Summary: Personal Experience Bought my Projector on boxing day 2005. Todays date is February 18th 2006. Only 128 hours on the unit and the bulb blew. I have been resonably pleased with the image and the ease of use with this model. Problems Customer service is very difficult to deal with and seems to have indivuduals working for them that don't know what they are representing.
Summary: Personal Experience BUY THIS PROJECTOR !!!!!I am impressed with this entry level home theatre projector of BenQ and have'nt had any problems as yet. I project on a 16:9 screen and use Component through my Sony sound-theatre system.
