Summary: I purchased this BenQ PB6200 DLP Video Projector. What I saw did not worth my dime. They took the BenQ PB6200 DLP Video Projector from the attic with a spider web in the machine, put the machine in the box without the electric capble.
Summary: Personal Experience Bought the projector and had to send it back after two months. The service was good and I was sent a new unit within 4 weeks. The first bilb lasted 300 hours in economy mode, the seconf bulb lasted 400 hours. Problems I've gone through 2 bulbs so far, both have become dim and unusable after 400 hours in economy mode.
Summary: Personal Experience Excellent product. I've owned a PB6200 since 2005. I had put 3200+ hours on the lamp before replacing it. The lamp just survived. It is important to allow the bulb to cool down properly and not just pull power on it like so many uneducated projector users have a tendency to do. Bang for buck, this projector is spectacular.
Summary: Personal Experience Bought this projector in 6/04 for over $1400. Didn't put into service until 12/04. Worked fine for that time and then one day without the power even on, I noticed a small internal fan was running and would not turn off unless I switched the main power off. Also, none of the panel lights or buttons functioned. This unit has maybe 500-700 hours total use: still on the original lamp.
Summary: Bulbs are easy to get for this projector and they currently run about $200. I've had this projector for a few years and love it. The bulbs seem to run around 4000 or 5000 hours in economy mode.
Projector is discontinued and impossible 2 get bulbs

Summary: This projector is now obsolete and when I called Ben-Q to purchase a new bulb, they informed me that they no longer make those bulbs. I could not find a bulb anywhere so now the projector is useless.
Summary: Personal Experience Have been using this projector for nearly 3 years and it hasn't missed a beat (touch wood). I'm still on my first lamp. Always ran it in Eco mode and the lamp hrs has just gone over 3000. (Reset the timer just before 3000). I guess I better get a new bulb ready!! Or I might just upgrade to 1080p. Problems None, what so ever.
Summary: We've had this projector just under 3 years, and have had no problems with it. The only thing is that we have it down, so we don't use the remote but the actual buttons on the machine. I find that sometimes we have to re-adjust the focus, etc because we bump it. The focus gets bumped easily when putting the lens cover off and on.
Summary: Personal Experience 1800 hours and two years later, I still love the PB6200. I send an upscaled 1080i signal to it and everything looks brilliant. I will say that after ~1750hrs, the bulb has begun to get noticeably dimmer. It's the original bulb though, so I can't complain too much (and bulb prices have come down a lot ~$200 each now). It's made a couple odd noises throughout it's life, but apparently none of them were serious.
