Summary: Not a bad projector. ;) I've been using mine for over 2 years and it's still going well! 3d ready doesn't mean it will play 3d blurays though!!!! It's not a true 3d projector so is not recognized by 3d bluray players! :( I'm still enjoying Blurays and dvds with it though!
Summary: Having the DLP close to the screen gives more flexibility for presentations. The DLP is adjustable for correcting keystoning. It is bright enough that the room light only needs to be dimmed a little.
Summary: So far I am very pleased with this (only had two weeks). I was looking for a short throw projector that would work with my fios cable box for HD as well as my laptop. So far both work well and have a nice picture.
Summary: Have it inverted and hanging under a home made mount using metal strips from Home Depot. Hangs 2 feet from a 9 foot ceiling and 6.5 feet away from a golf projector screen 7x9(h) feet. Very good pictures that can be enhanced. Projector operated by a remote. HDMI cable connected to a Windows 7 PC.
Summary: Personal Experience I think this projector would be a pretty good all-purpose projector. We have it in our setup for classroom use and it’s a very well built projector. The colors are quite vibrant and it’s extremely sharp.
Summary: The MX613ST is a short throw projector which means if you have a small living room for instance, you can still get impressive screen sizes as it produces a 55inch image from just 3ft away from your wall so at 6ft just imagine...
